DRAMA
The connection between rock and electronic, tube amps and synths, transgression and transcension. DRAMA unites elements of diverse influences, but with roots in the industrial rock made by bands like Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. Formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2006, the current incarnation of DRAMA has Eddie Torres (vocals, programming), Kevyn Buhr (guitar), Bruno Hage (bass) and Luca Shirru (drums).
With 2 demos released in internet in the years 2007 and 2009, Drama brings together a vast and diverse set list, making "hits" in the underground scene such as “O Monstro”, that played well in webradios in Brasil and other countries, and “Ojeriza” released in the international compilation “Harmonia Mundi” by the German label Danse Macabre Records, invited by Bruno Kramm, owner and founder of the label and of one of the pioneering industrial-gothic bands - Das Ich.
Live, perform all the ambiance created in the studio with the help of samplers and drum machines, but with the punch of a rock band, whose only commitment is the catharsis of the audience. The presence and energy on stage are unmistakable hallmarks of Drama.
There are currently putting together a collection of unreleased songs and reworkings of earlier compositions to the debut album, to be released later in 2012. In concert, show a little of what may be the future album and a bit of Coffin Joe, Freddy Krugger, Eric Draven and Pink Floyd.
