Eric Pigors - Toxic Toons

I studied animation at Brandes art for 2 years and have been working in the animation industry for 17 years.I worked on a few projects that were not so good but i did get to work on the original,FAMILY DOG "episode which ran on Amazing stories and Tim Burton designed with Brad Bird. I did a 7 minute long cartoon with a company called International Rocketship Limited in Van Couver called ,"Lets chop soo-e!" which ran on Mtv's Liquid Television and The Too Outrageous Animation festivals. But for the past 15 years i've worked at the Walt Disney Studios on such films as ,"The little mermaid,Tarzan,Hercules,Beauty and the beast ,Alladin,The lion king ,and Treasure Planet".I did some character designs for this film.Some of the more meorable characters i've worked on at Disneys are ,Ursala the sea witch in the little mermaid,Hades in Hercules ,Kerchak in Tarzan and the Hyennas in The lion king. I spend my spare time doing my own work called ,"Toxictoons"which is the total opposite of Disneys product.I'm trying to sell a Halloween special and tv show and would like to do designs for video games besides animated cartoons which i love.I grew up loving cartoons like,popeye,betty boop ,woody woodpecker,the old warner brothers cartoons,tex avery and Dr.Suess,Mad magazine,Odd rods stickers,Rat Fink anything i could get my hands or eyes on. I like to take my ideas from childhood inspirations and twist them with my kreppy kooky karacters which you can see in my artbook ,"Toxictoons "and my new book," Cobwebs And Vinegar "out in july,2002.You can see more of my work or purchase my limited edition books thru my web site at
