Welcome to the Army of the Universe VampireFreaks site.
In the winter of 2008, on a dark stormy night, in the gray city of Milan, 'Army of the Universe' were born.
From the mind and synthesizers of Techno/Trance producer, Albert Vorne (aka Trebla), from the powerful voice of Lord K, lead singer of Kult of the Skull God, and with the distorted, weeping and power-driven guitars of Dave, they make, 'Army of the Universe'.
AOU takes inspiration from the experiments of the 80's electro-rock, fuelled with the futuristic re-interpretations of rocking 6 strings on top of twisted electronic landscapes and the collisions of sound of the end of the millennia.
The sound lays upon analogue synths in a fusion with blade-like guitars, speeding around echoes of 80's metal, flirting with backgrounds of British school electronica new wave and techno beats.
AOU joined our galaxy on a mission to explore the frontiers of post-rock and post-electronica.
Cutting edge music born for the dance floor melts with epic power rock and blinks an eye to the warm feeling of live interpretations, a post-modern experience that completes the fusion of the two worlds.
Mother Ignorance - LP
In May 2010 AOU initiates the mixing of their debut album, 'Mother Ignorance'. With them in the studio, Chris Vrenna, former drummer of Nine Inch Nails and Grammy Award winner, Keyboards and Electronics for Marilyn Manson and founder of electro band 'Tweaker'. Chris Vrenna is also a multi Gold Record producer and Engineer with ,'Rasmus', 'Megadeth', 'Slipknot', 'Metallica' and many more. He instantly loved the project and declared, "It's been a long time since I had heard anything so new and groundbreaking". Mother Ignorance was mastered at Chart Maker studios in Helsinki (Bjork, Rammstein).
Trebla, with good and experienced friends takes 'Resin' and 'LoveDead' and accepts the wise knowledge of Producers Extraordinaire, Sir Bob Reefo aka Bobermann (Bloody Beetroots), T. Raumschmiere and Evil Nine. The outcome of the projects produce the highest level of electronic dance research into sound. The remixes anticipated the album in an EP, a limited edition release on vinyl and a consequent distribution on digital platforms.
The latest single by Army of the Universe brings more rocking beats to your sterio. The single released by Dim Mak Inc. on the 19th June 2012 will be the best single you can buy this year.
With the amazing vocals of Lord K, the synthetic creations of Trebla and the guitar shredding of a god by Dave brings another track to blow your mind.
