About Me
http://almarksynthoelectro.tumblr.com/https://twitter.com/ThaonisAlmarkoshttp://synthoelectro.bandcamp.com/ UPDATE: I've been very busy musicially this year, much of the music has been created via live performance over the net and my bandcamp showcases all of it. Enjoy :) Almark has written Electronic music since 1999, starting with Fast Tracker II then moving onward to more advanced software. The formula has always been the same, experiment with any ideas that come to me. Striving to be different and unique from song to song, this is my goal as an artist. I have Tumblr and twitter, please add me if you will. I personally don't like talking about myself but more as an artist. I'm thoughtful, believe in being kind to people and don't appreciate rudeness, I have a poetry mindset and everyday is worth living.. Almark is 36 - I've been pretty busy lately with music writing, doing these shows for a single party audience over the net. Sounds Like
The music doesn't follow any genre but influences have always fueled the music. Since the music strives to be different from song to song there is no label given. If one could coin something of a genre it would be Retro Electronic with a mix of pulses and abstract emotions. Neither sounding like anyone but more like a deja vu possibly of something you might hear in the past or present Electronically and hopefully, "underground" for all time...
Influences
Joy Division, The Frozen Autumn, NIN, Covenant, Kraftwerk, John Carpenter, Harold Faltermeyer, Severed Heads (Aussie Group disbanded in 2009), Depeche Mode, Röyksopp, The Cars, New Order, The Smiths, A-ha!, Daft Punk, Tears for Fears, Assemblage 23, Underworld, Front 242, Sisters of Mercy, Ministry, Thompson Twins, Thomas Dolby, A Flock of Seagulls, Bauhaus, Dalis Car, The Cure, EBM, DnB, Ambient, Goth, Darkwave, 80s synthpop, Post punk, Movie Soundtracks, and Classical.
