After some musical experiments, Zeritas produced the song "i chose" in may 2003.
René - the founder of that projekt Zeritas - sent this instrumental song to his friend Makke.
Makke was excited and began to write the lyrics for that song. His dark voice gave that song the right atmosphere. Good critics gave them the inspiration to create more songs and to have a serious bandproject. Zeritas is not only Gothic.
It depends on the mood of the musician what kind of music it will be. Zeritas has got a good distinctive style and his own individual style. In 2004 Makke didn't have enough time for the project, because his own musicproject in Sweden needs his full manpower.
But Zeritas needed a new singer and René met Micha who was a bandleader from a gothic-rock band. Micha loved the romantic and melancholic music style and began to write his first Zeritas song "Mehr von Dir" ß 3th place battle of the band 2004
And it works.
