I'm a 26 year old male living in Australia. My best friend is Crystal aka SnappedStitches on VampireFreaks and she's very awesome.
I am currently studying, I'm doing a Professional Writing and Editing course, though I mainly stick to classes that involve creative writing.
I'm an Atheist. Though I was raised as a christian and spent some years exploring Paganism I've come to a point in my life in which I don't see any reason to believe anything religion claims to be 'truth'. I believe in what I know to be real, and what has facts and evidence to support it. Though the only defining factor to being an Atheist is not believing in any gods. Atheism simply meaning 'Without god.' However I do think there's enough evidence to support evolution. We have after all found many fossils, including that of pre-human ancestors.
For the most part I hate religion, though this mostly covers organised religions like Christianity. I don't really mind Paganism and Wicca as at least followers of these religions have the decency to not shove their beliefs down our throats or use their beliefs as an excuse for hatred and ignorance. I've found most Pagans and Wiccans are interesting people. And I love the old myths and legends. They're good stories, even if I don't believe in any of it. I also seem to have been made the owner of a Wicca cult. A strange thing I'll admit considering I'm an Atheist.
I love creative thoughts and imagination. Which is why I love fantasy and horror stories. I like stories of worlds and places that are beyond reality. I have quite a good imagination myself, and I often drift off into my own mind. I like reading fantasy and horror related stories. I have also written some stories of my own.
I enjoy philosophy, and intellectual discussions. I enjoy debate as long as it's an intelligent conversation and not simply arguing. I don't have the patience for stupidity either.
I like Computer and video games, I have quite a large collection, I mostly like RPG's, Horror, First Person Shooters, and Adventure games.
I also quite enjoy going out to night clubs and bars with friends drinking and dancing and whatever else. I've found that most of the time I'm a happy drunk and I will laugh at pretty much anything while drunk. I also tend to be a very social drunk and I will talk to pretty much anyone while intoxicated. My favourite alcoholic drink is vodka. Vodka mixes well with pretty much anything.
When it comes to music I like metal and rock mostly I also like music that I can relate to. I like music that I can truly feel, and that inspires me. But I listen to whatever sounds good to me.
