I'm no angel; In the last 19& a half years I've made a lot of mistakes, some that I can let go and some that I will never let myself live down.. Life is a dance, sometimes you get every step and keep twirling around.. other times you mess up completely and fall on your face. I have terrible trust issues- you can thank all the traitors that have stabbed me in the back time after time for that flaw of mine. I'll more than likely come off as a bitch before anything else- Can't handle it? You might wanna stop reading this now because I'm a certified bitch. I have Cerebral Palsy, It's a birth defect that was caused by holes in my brain matter. I ran track with my friends ( no not special olympics) from 8th grade until my senior year I was out there listening to all those people tell me I couldn't do it and that I would never get my letterman jacket (it now hangs in my closet) I went to West Texas A&M University, and even though I've hit a bump in the road with it I'm not going to quit. I never have.. What I'm trying to get at is people with disabilities are still PEOPLE. We have feelings,IQ's and dreams. We don't need sympathy, or the looks of pity we get at the mall or Walmart we need people that don't have disabilities to understand that we just want to be treated like EVERY ONE ELSE! If you want to ask questions go for it... But don't get on here to pick on me, that will be a very dumb move.
