Xe-NONE synopsis: We are glad to introduce to you the dance-metal band Xe-NONE. Xe-NONE is a mind blowing combination of a modern metal sound and electronic-dance grooves. The band draws inspiration from such musically diverse sources as NINE INCH NAILS, CRADLE OF FILTH, SCOOTER, FEAR FACTORY and 2 UNLIMITED. Band: Xe-NONE was formed in the mid of 2004, when Lexy Dance (male vocal, programming) and Newman (synths, programming) decided to join efforts in creating music. The first line-up included: Lexy Dance (male vocal, programming), Lady EvilAnn (female vocal), Newman (synths, programmings), Schultz (bass), Max (guitar) ? P2D2 (drums). In May 2005 the band recruited a new drummer Watson. The year of 2006 brought big changes to the line-up. During the year the band parted ways with guitarist Max and bassist Schultz. They were replaced by a good old friend Fucker (ex-HMR, StopKran), who took on guitar duties, and Andrew Rex (ex-Adeks) as a bass player. The current line-up working on the new material includes: Lexy Dance, Lady EvilAnn, Newman, [Fucker], Andrew Rex and Watson. Releases: Xe-NONE unleashed their 4-song debut Digital Fucker in October 2004. The EP had successful sales figures and received positive reaction overall both in local and foreign press. A year later, the band released a mini-album Blood Rave with five brand new tracks. The mini album showed Xe-NONEs professional progress: the sound became more monolithic and the mix of metal and electronic parts more balanced. Following the debuts success, Blood Rave gathered lots of positive reviews from all over the world. It boosted up the distribution of the album as well as the bands concert activity. The song Stars from Blood Rave featured in the first part of the Legacy Of Metall compilation, released by Rezonans Music in March 2006. Apart from making their own music, Xe-NONE has done some remixing. During 2005 and 2006, the band participated in two remix competitions. For the first competition, organized by an Italian band DOPE STARS INC, they remixed the song Vyperpunk in uplifting trance style. The second attempt was their version of the hit Only in the contest organized by NINE INCH NAILS. In 2007 Xe-NONE teased their fans with a 3-song demo Angels, to give them a flavor of what the upcoming album should sound like. Live: Xe-NONEs first live appearance took place at the UDAR fest in Kirov on October 31, 2004. Since that time the band has been leading an active concert life, performing both at big fests and small club parties . Today Xe-NONE is an experienced live act with more than 3 years of intense concert activity in various parts of Russia, both solo and with a vast array of stylistically diverse bands. A live performance by Xe-NONE delivers you a 100% of electronic-metal energy at the limit of human abilities. It is a kick ass mixture of own songs and various cover versions of great metal and dance hits. Actions: At present, Xe-NONE has finished recording their full-length debut entitled Dance Metal [Rave]olution and release it in Russia via ReflLEXYa Records in May 2008. Xe-NONE is always ready for communication and contact with labels and booking agencies in Russia and other countries.
