Profile: My name is Joe. I'm still in the United States Navy, and am now assigned to the USS Harry S Truman. I finally made it to 2nd Class Petty Officer (Electronics Technician). I'm proud that I serve my country. Yes I know some of it is fucked up, you can say all you want, I still believe this country is the best out there, albeit we're on the decline. I'm doing what I can, to give back to the country. You'll hear me at times say that my job sucks, or that I'm bored, or that the job is boring. Partly true, but it's an interesting job, it's just I'm used to it. If I were to tell you I touched a nuclear reactor at the age of 20, and can operate one at the age of 20, your first thought is "wow, damn that's crazy". To me it's normal, hence I think it's boring. I strive to do better...sometimes. I want to better myself, hence I chose this job. I can sometimes come off as arrogant, for this I apologize, I don't mean to...all the time. I just got back from a 7 month deployment. It was a unique experience, one that you can't get anywhere else except actually doing the deployment. It had it's up, and it's down. But it's pretty amazing to say that I went to the United Arab Emirates, France, Italy, and Rhodes, Greece. It's amazing to say that I went to the Persian Gulf, and supported our troops on the ground in Iraq, by helping a carrier launch aircraft to provide cover.Likes: Music. No, music is not my life, but I listen to all kinds of music. Everything from classical, to country, to 40's music, big band and swing, to rap. Yes even rap. I love to play frisbee, specifically ultimate frisbee. I used to play all the time in South Carolina. I like shooting (not animals...yet). I have a 10/.22 carbine , made by rutger. I like skeetshooting and plan on buying a shotgun for this purpose. Playing videogames, it's an easy past time, esp when you're on board an aircraft carrier. I like fishing, when I can get out there and fish, which hasn't happened much lately. I like reading books, it helps keep my spelling and speech abilities up to date, because so far my time in the Navy has made my speech more simplistic and direct. I like watching movies, hanging out with friends, hanging outh with friends AND watching movies. Various other hobbies I can't recall at this moment...I do like my truck, and the stereo system I have in it.Dislikes: Various other dislikes that countless other people have listed. I'll let you know if you say/know/do something I don't like.Favorite Music: Armor For Sleep. Angels and Airwaves.
