About Me
THE GREAT AMERICON

Mosh pits, be ready: The Great AmeriCon is taking it to a whole new level. Every rock, metal, and industrial fan will be astounded by this powerful new band. The music is heavy and fast-paced, with machine-like drums and crushing yet hooky guitar riffs.

The Great AmeriCon is the brainchild of two-time Grammy-nominated artist, Sin Quirin, and consists of an all-star cast. Guitarist/producer/songwriter Sin Quirin, based out of Los Angeles, has been a major player in the industrial, rock, and metal scenes. He is best known for his contributions to bands such as Ministry, Revolting Cocks, and Lords of Acid, and has toured all over the world, most notably, performing in front of hundreds of thousands of screaming fans at many of the major festivals in Europe.

Josh Bradford delivers a commanding and intense vocal performance for The Great AmeriCon, with a stage presence unlike any other. Josh has previously sung for Revolting Cocks, as well as his own band Stayte, and was a guest vocalist for the band Ministry.

Clayton Worbeck is a master at programming and production for The Great AmeriCon. What Clayton adds creates a hybrid of heavy, guitar-driven rock and technological, mechanical force. Clayton writes and performs for Stayte and has also performed in Revolting Cocks.

Salvador Krk, drummer for The Great AmeriCon, attacks the drums with brutality. His hard-hitting rhythms will drive any mosh pit into a state of frenzy. Salvador Krk is best known for his contributions to Lords of Acid and Praga Khan; he also has an extensive background in rock and metal.

Karma Cheema, the bands newest addition, is thunderous on the bass guitar. He is also well respected for his role in the bands American Head Charge and Otep.

The Great AmeriCon began writing and recording in early 2010. Their first EP is set for release in May 2011. The Great AmeriCon will be joining Combichrist on select west coast dates of the upcoming "Monsters on Tour" (May 2011), and the band will also be touring extensively later on in the year.
