I’m 21 and I live with my boyfriend Al. I have graduated from one college, and have just started a new semester at Central Connecticut State Uni. I majored as a studio arts (photography) and graphic design major at my first school, and and now going for my art education degree. My youngest sister could kick your ass, the one closer to my age but still younger (and has gotten taller than me to, I’m 5’5”) is hotter than you and knows it. My dad could beat up your dad, and my mom is just all around better than you, after all, she’s the Queen of the Universe. My Grandpa and my Gram, who are sadly no longer with us, and much missed, were the most amazing people that ever lived. I like to think I’m easy to get along with, I tend to like people, unless they suck, then I think they suck. My friends rule, they’re defiantly cooler than your friends, and if they weren’t, they’d blackmail and blow things up until they were. Personally I think I’m pretty good at using Photoshop to manipulate images to create something new, though I still have a lot to learn. I love photography. I like to use film when I get to develop it myself, black and white, but I find digital is most convenient otherwise. I haven’t gotten any new film to develop myself, I don’t like to use it otherwise, and I got a new digital for Christmas (2007), a 10.2megapixal Nikon digital D40x kit. It's beautiful and unless you have better one you should be jealous. Now that I have it, I can get some more photography done I'm so excited. When it comes to drawing by hand, I’m better than some, and worse than others. Painting though, I just suck haha. I find sculpture to be a lot of fun, when I took my sculpting as one of my college courses my bust came out looking like the model, yay. I like to do trades with people. I like to comment back if you comment me, profile and pictures, I always try to return a message, unless it's just ridiculous spam, then I delete it. If you want to do an art trade I'm up for that too, however, unless I know your artistic level already, I will only accept the trade if you do your half first, so I can see the outcome, and know how much effort or what I should do for you. Not to be rude, but I don't wanna get ripped of by some butthead like that, whether the outcome is the best it can be or not, I like to put effort into what I do. Here’s what might make some people think I’m crazy (prolly not on VF though, haha). I promise I’m not. I believe I’ve seen ghosts, I hear songs and know what they are and really think I heard or hear them coming from somewhere but they aren’t really playing. I’m only afraid of the dark sometimes, when and where doesn’t matter. I like to make faces randomly and make funny or odd noises to you. Like birds, shiny objects catch my attention very easily. I believe in magic, and I believe in things like aliens, Nessy, Bigfoot, etc… Some things I like: Safety pins, zippers, duct tape. I like anime. I like tattoos, though I have none myself. I like piercings, but the Monroe, the bull, and the nipple piercings are my least favorites, I don’t have any piercings, not even lobes, by my choice. Fruit, I would take fruit over candy. Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday. Every year since I was little my family has decorated the front porch of my grandparent’s house with all kinds of ghosts and ghouls, spider webs and creatures, going through 15-20 bags of candy each year! After my grandpa passed, we did one more Halloween (2007) and then stopped, and put the house up for sale. It was just recently sold, sadface. I love eyes and I love necks, they’re my favorite body parts. I like colors, all types, especially neon. I like to play Dance Dance Revolution. I don’t like: Feet, black licorice, bad smells. I don’t like rude people. I don’t like the feel of raw chicken with bone, or being thirsty. I don’t like being cold. I have an account on d2jsp, my username is TechnoCandy. I have a miscellaneous art account on Deviantart named WanderingShadow. I don't really use Myspace anymore, but I still check it on occasion, I'm on Facebook a lot. Deviantart I'm decently active on, and D2jsp I'm on multiple times a week at least. My favorite artist is Amy Brown, my favorite photographers are Richard Avedon and Lara Jade. Some of my favorite bands are Mindless Self Indulgence, Oh Sleeper, Tool, Skindred, Dope, VNV Nation, God Module, Aural Vampire, Gackt, Gazette, and Buckethead. My favorite shows are Bones, House, Fringe, Prison Break, Wearhouse13, Supernatural, Heroes, and My Name Is Earl, my favorite cartoon is The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, my favorite animes are Berserk, Tokyo Paradise, Elfen Lied, Gantz, FLCL, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z and Outlaw Star.
