The Real Deal: I'm a kid. I know this. I'm aware that I am still growing up. I'm still lost in this huge place I used to call home. Some things have been rough on me and I still wear the scars, but I wear them with pride knowing that I can push myself through anything and make it out alive on the other side. My family fell apart before I ever saw it coming but I held on and re-established the connections that I had been ignoring my entire life. The bonds I have with that family now are some of the best I've ever known [which aren't perfect, but to me, they could never be replaced] That's why I have a tattoo that reads "Torn Together 2007" on my right side. I'm stronger than most can comprehend. This life has torn me to pieces and somehow, with the help of those I love, I've been reassembled to be tougher than before every damn time. I enjoy many things in life, mostly small things that can be accomplished with a simple thought. I think in poetry.
