Their music is a mix of ( Industrial / Metal / Aggrotech / Hellektro / Terror EBM ). The band was founded by AMEN in 1996 in Phoenix, AZ. In 1998 released a demo called “SMPLR001″ with 5 songs, recorded at In Your Face Studios with Michael Vain. In 1999 produced 13 songs called “SYNTHESIS” at Octane Studios with Josh Ebner. In 2000 recorded a single called “Feel” also at Octane Studios. In 2004 relocating to Denver, CO, “SMPLR060606″ (a three song sampler) was released @ The Church in Denver, CO debuting their 6 song release “EP060606″. “101010″ was digitally released officially on Oct, 10 2010 Through ReverbNation, Torso had a platform to host, distribute and network this release. Torso has performed with; 16Volt, Android Lust, Bile, Blackcell, Chemlab, Colorado Dark Arts Festival 2004 thru 2007, Combichrist, Cursed Chimera, Dead Hand Projekt, Diverje, Dope, Filter, Genitorturers, God Module, Guinness Book of World Records for Body Suspension hosted by Joey Strange, Halloween night at The Church 2004 through 2007 with Aktivate Sin and Carphax Files, Hate Dept, Hemlock, Icon of Coil, Kontrolled Demolition, Mankind Is Obsolete, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, More Machine Than Man, Northborne, Pet Projekt, Pit-bull Daycare, Powerman 5000, Rob Halford’s (Judas Priest) Fight and Two, Rough Hausen, Sacred Reich, S.I.L., Slick Idiot, SMP, Static X, The Strand, Terrorfakt, Vampire’s Ball 2005 with Imperative Reaction, Vendetta Festival 2009, W.A.S.T.E , WireTrap and many others. In the tradition of their roots their live productions consist of Audio/Visual presentations and have been described as “Pure Sex & Violence”. After many dismembered in the machine called Torso thier live shows remain notorious through the network of Industrial Nations. Plotting a course for European and American festivals Torso is planning on touring at the end of 2011 to 2012 after an anticipated release called “111111″ on Nov, 11 2011.
