I'm 25 and currently dwell in Colchester, Essex, though it's a wish of mine to network and travel all round the world. I'd describe myself as both laidback and driven; I have so many goals to achieve in life but also give my time to enjoying every day as it comes. I'm currently living with my beautiful girlfriend Sarah and I've never been happier. Every day with her brightens up my life more than words can say. My main interests are in writing; working on a sci-fi novel which will eventually become a series in due time, and in music. I write songs in a variety of styles, and am also a vocalist currently searching for projects to be involved in. I'm a very social person, enjoying hanging out with friends in Colchester, going to gigs and clubs there, and enjoy meeting new people whenever possible. It always strikes me how many people with similar aims and opinions are out there, so networking with likeminded people is very important to me. My main aim is to develop and expand as a person, both physically and mentally. Every day I like to think that I've added to my knowledge and skills and am in better shape than the day before. It makes me very restless when I'm not able to do this or to set my goals further in motion but it's a challenge I try to meet every day.

Sarah, my beautiful girlfriend. Alcohol - especially bourbon (Wild Turkey 50% is the way to my heart). Metal and other music as so many bands/ songs/ etc have more meaning to me than I can express and give examples for, plus hearing the right music can really lift my mood. Books, as I love reading (especially sci-fi and horror); every day I like to find out something new and to read a different story. Socialising with friends is important to me as the friends I have around me are the ones I know are loyal, having stuck with me through some tough times. Writing music - a mix of metal, industrial and dnb; it's one of my other creative outlets and one of my greatest ambitions is to release a collection of songs one day. Watching films, as both entertainment and for inspiration. I've taken in so much more from the heroes (and villains) on-screen, and I'm sure it's something a lot of other people can relate to. Working out; I like to be in good shape, though I know I can always get better. Watching Jeremy Kyle as it makes me feel so much better on the few days I feel down. And, most importantly, my hair. I've had dreads for four and a half years now, and I'll never get rid of them, they feel too much a part of me to ever change, though they often get a trimming/ uber-bleaching/ other radical procedure done to them every now and again. Other things that don't need much in-depth info, but worthy of mention here; playing practical jokes on people, throwing things out of windows, dropping big farts (better out than in), going to gigs (and ruling the moshpit when I'm there), going to clubs, watching anime, crank-calling people, putting my hands over my girlfriend when she's in leather and pvc, fishnet stuff, animals; especially dogs and fluffy cats, fire, my xbox360 - first person shooters have to be my favourite genre to play, with AVP being my current game of choice. Along with that last one I love the Alien and Predator series of films, along with the surrounding books, comics and the background of the setting. If I could be a Predator, or even to just have the Predator tech, then I'd be happy. Active camo, plasma caster and bourbon would make a great mix, and a very happy me.
Dislikes
Animal cruelty is top on the list as it makes me sick. I also hate narrow-mindedness, as people should be so much more open to accept alternative views, ideas, etc. I have a great dislike for modern culture as it seems so empty when compared to the sectors of literature, music and other entertainment that don't get so much blanket bland exposure. Another thing I hate is being interrupted, since everyone should have enough basic courtesy to listen to others, but this is something a lot of people lack. A big dislike of mine is advertising; when seeking to grab the attention of a consumer, most companies believe putting a drab indie tune in the background of an 'eccentric' setting with messy-haired tossers is best for capturing the most young people willing to buy a product/ sign to a completely useless contract/ etc. A shit advert will put me off a product/ brand/ etc for life, as well as put me in a foul mood from having to listen to such dull, lifeless music. Connected to this point are songs without lyrics; not instrumental music but when people make the strangest noises in the background of a sub-nursery rhyme tune, to me it sounds terrible. Along with these are some more everyday dislikes, these being; vegetables, the colour pink, rainy days, having to go on the tube in london, bad music - emo, pop, most rap, etc, as well as the subcultures/stereotypes that surround these genres.
