Skeleton Kid is a four-piece dark punk rock band who do anything and everything in the name of rock ‘n’ roll. From Bournemouth, UK, Skeleton Kid’s sound is a heavy mixture of punk, metal and stadium rock. The band started in early 2011 when bassist Timmy C and guitarist Frankie G came together over a love of Mötley Crüe, Marilyn Manson and all things excessive to create a new band with outrageous antics. Their good friend Rusty Olli jumped behind the kit and second guitarist Eddi J joined in. The chemistry was instant and with the line-up complete the band began to experiment with sound and horror. Skeleton Kid’s first studio EP, produced by The Animal Farm, is their mission statement to leave a trail of booze, sex and cigarettes in their wake. Says Eddi J: “My biggest regret was getting a full time job. 9 to 5 wasn’t for me. I smoke too much, drink too much and don’t fuck enough for my liking. I ride motorcycles, pretend I can write songs, and wish I had enough money for more tattoos. That’s about it. If it’s not enough then lower ya fucking expectations.” 2012 brings the release of their first studio EP and more touring and debauchery in the UK.
