My name is Silva (a nickname, I admit... but I have my reasons) and I am twenty years old. I am not new to Vampire Freaks, I simply deleted my old account to start over. I believe that I know who I am, after much searching and anticipation, and I know where I want to go and what I want to become in life. I am a mother, my son is three and my daughter was born just this year. My children are the light of my life, the reason for my existence. I am also a poet, a musician and a historian. I am extremely opinionated, but compassionate and generally quite accepting. I am honest with those who can handle it, and often those who can't as well. I am myself and I'm not going to change for the likes of you. This profile is still under construction, so you'll have to patient about the fact that it is still pretty plain, not yet exciting enough to warrant much interest. I guarantee it will improve and I hope (whoever it is reading this) that you'll keep checking in to see the process and, eventually, the end result.
I enjoy spending time with my family, most especially my children. My friends' company is also enjoyed. I love to read (classical literature, Canadian literature, poetry, non-fiction, historical fiction, etc) and to write. I play the piano (for 9 years now) and I am learning how to play the guitar slowly. I research my topics of interest on a regular basis and enjoy school because it gives me an opportunity to learn even more about such subjects (world history, WWII, language arts). I am an animal person, I have two cats and a chinchilla. I also really like to sleep.
I dislike dishonesty, infidelity, irresponsibility, poor hygiene and poor grammar. Besides those things I am generally a pretty laid back person. I am anti war, anti violence. I promote peace.
I enjoy almost all music. I listen to everything from Evanescence and Disturbed to James Taylor and Sarah McLachlan. I particularly enjoy 80's new wave, steampunk, trance, pop, and rock.
