Profile: Ryjin presents Darkfujin. A New genre of music, fusing the sounds of Pop, Rock, and RnB with a Gothic touch to the music and lyrics. Sometimes described as Gothicpop, the fresh sound of a breaking style of music is ready to hit airwaves all over. Hailing from a small town in Virginia, Very close to the middle of nowhere, Ryjin began his musical journey. A young soul beginning at the age of 13, his memories of life start there. “I lived deep in the country, near farmland. The only thing I really had out there was music. I would listen to music of The Phantom of the Opera, Beethoven, Handel, and other Great classical artists. I knew I wanted to sing and create music." Ryjin would sing in church and at nursing homes with his Mother and sister and helped compose new songs from the Bible. Unknowing at the time how to best pursue his passion, His earth guide coached him and got him started performing covers in various club and events. Ryjin wanted more than only performing other people’s music. Within the last two years, this 23 year old performer began crafting his own unique style of music called Fujin. A NEW ERA OF MUSIC BEGINS!! DarkFujin is the fluid combination of Gothic, Industrial, Electronica and Pop/Rock. Some of his music has been compared to artist styles like Him, Criss Angel, A gothic Michael Jackson, or a trippy Marilyn Manson style. It is a uniquely fused blend that is easier described as Gothic Pop.. Influenced by artists from the classical realm to present day, Ryjin takes his passion into the studio to create music that both mainstream and underground listeners will enjoy. Songs like Dirty Little Minds touch on raw passion and lust, with a frenzied dark dance beat that will force listeners to dance.
