Freelance graphic designer @ lynnea.net Current Commissions: Body art for S_P_H_I_N_X - Status: unfinished (revision of likely choices complete - waiting for feedback) I'll be honest, I'm pretty terrible at filling these things out. I suppose I can say that I am a tomboy, redneck, Christian, independent, open-minded, cat lover, computer goddess (and geek), in love, artist, and nature baby. I'm also a bit of a walking contradiction. I have no idea how to define myself. I'm a Gemini and I act like it. My interests usually change from one moment to another, although I do love to read, make things, dance, and drink tea. Health is a big thing for me. I come from a family that either has high health or not much of it. I love to go outside in the warmer months and enjoy the feel of the sun on my skin, although I have to be careful since I have Irish skin and tend to burn in ten seconds or less. :P I love sitting on the docks at the lake and feeling the waves rock my body back and forth... my own natural rhythm somehow. A good hike through a forest feels great, but I still love to come home and curl up with my mate and watch a movie or read a book. I love music. I've been drawing since I was young, although I'm not very good at it. Stating that I'm Christian seems a bit... restricting. I was raised Southern Baptist, but I have felt like I have been walking away from that path for awhile. I am what I like to call a Jesus Christian. Not based on the "modern" religious ideals and what is taught today in churches. I believe in His original teachings, as much as we know about them. Perhaps this makes me more of a Wiccan, but my faith and love in God is deep and has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. I can vary from calm and centered to a complete spaz to deadly in moments. I like to feel at harmony with nature and those around me, but I'm also very much in touch with the primal, feral side of myself and the fire within. I am highly protective of those I love. Friends of mine have said I am a lot like a cat or an elf. I tend to shy away from angry outbursts, unless I am protecting someone, including myself. I am a child deep-down, including a rather short attention span... oh look! A kitty! Oh, and I sometimes add people as friends even if I've only talked to them once. There are some people here that just catch my attention and I want to remember them! |
