Hey. My name's Ari. I don't really identify with a particular 'scene', so you won't hear me put any labels on myself except jokingly. I'm homeschooled, but that doesn't mean I have any problems 'socializing'; I went to public school from kindergarten to 9th grade. I actually like being homeschooled much better than public school. It's much more flexible, and I don't have to feel lonely when surrounded by my peers; I can meet friends on my own time, without pressure to 'fit in'. I've moved around a lot for most of my life, mostly up and down the East Coast. Most of my friends in real life are in different states from me, but we keep in touch easily. I am in love with manga and anime. I would've just put in it the 'Likes' box, but it takes up so much of my life that it needed to be said here. My favorites are Bleach (of course), D. Gray-man (that's more recent), and Death Note (I rooted for Kira). Related to this, I am also an avid fanfiction reader. Mostly slash. And before you make assumptions, I'm not a stereotypical 'yaoi fangirl'. I can like something without being rabid about. Also, for those of you who don't know what yaoi is: gay men lovin' other gay men. No homophobic comments about that, please.
