Hello. I'm Steph. I'm your average 20-something. As they say in This is England '86, "We're not growing up. We're growing sideways."
I'm doing my Masters in English at the moment. When I'm not doing that I work horrendous hours, drag my friends places so I can fanny about with my camera, drink copious amounts of tea, illegally download things and stuff like that. Reading's good too.
My main plan of action is to become a writer in some shape or form. Journalism seems very appealing.
I want to dive with Great White Sharks. If I had a bucket list, that'd be number one.
I'm almost constantly in some state of stress or exasperation, mainly due to the bewildering level of stupidity displayed by the general public and my frequent and horrific assignments.
I also love David Attenborough and cats. They're both nice.

Dislikes
There's quite a lot.
Deliberately stupid people. Sexism. Homophobia. Racism. Religion as a whole. Pro-life. Shit weather. Ignorance. Gender stereotypes.
Having to get up really early.
I'm not a big fan of too much makeup. Doesn't bother me if people like to wear loads, but overall I think most people look better without looking like they use a cement mixer to apply makeup. Natural beauty is good!
Dubstep. I don't believe that anyone really likes it. It sounds like the noise dial-up modems used to make, only slowed down.
People who feel the need to put every little crap thing that's ever happened to them on their profile. It's so attention-seeking.
It's not so much a dislike, but I do find something very unnerving and strange about people in their late 30's or 40's on here who spend vast quantities of their time chatting to people young enough to be their children. Stick to your own age-group, bub; you wouldn't go loiter with kids in RL, so why do it here?
People who think that the world cares that they're bisexual. Honestly, we don't.
When my longboard hits me in the face/back/hand/neck. It hurts like shit. Particularly when it's the fin.
