About Me
Nick Andren is an electronic musician from the depths of Minnesota's Twin Cities. He spearheaded the Internet-based collaborative industrial/EBM project Overthrower, has had his music played at the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis, and has remixed and recorded a variety of musicians. His style has been compared to Brainiac, Foetus, and Coil among many others. Pigswill isn't as much of a solo project as much as it is a compulsion for creating ambient post-industrial music. With the upcoming effort of "Natural Transducer", Pigswill expresses evolution through sound, moving from atmospheric noise into structured instrumentals. It's not just about putting you into unfamiliar territory, but rather taking you through it and showing you the living textures within.
