Guitar is the one thing i look foward to everyday,if i have a good guitar day i have a good overall day if i have a bad guitar day my lifes in the gutter. I never had any teachers i started playing with my thumb and went to take one guitar lesson and tried to teach me twinkle twinkle little star or something and i said i wanted to learn metallica they said it was to early for that and i said alright i quit ill go home and try to learn on my own and thats what i did and im glad i did it. . .Ive been a fan of guitar instuctional videos and i was in high school i had no cash and this guitar shop use to allow you to sign in and rent instructional videos over night for free so i take them home study as much as i could over night and then go in the next day rent out another one study as much as i could and the ones i liked i went and bought it was just part of my routin. Some people dont realize that you cant play any faster than you can play one single note. I think the more you mature as a musician you respect the blues and jazz now you dont get into the ultra fast players as much as you use to when you were a kid. I dont know what i would do if i didnt have music, its just been a great adverice it releases any kind of stress or pressure just like a movie when i sit down with my guitar i kinda get into another place where i can relax and have a good time, its my way of getting away from the world and doing something productive. If one day was left in your life what would you do with that day would you go and follow your dream do exactly what your heart tells you to do or would you stay in your safe little enviorment and not taking chances.
