Profile: Oh, hello. Would you like to hear my story? Of course you do. It all started when I was a freshman in high school. That's where I met my BFF Meagan, We had lots of fantabulous adventures together. I made some fucking awesome friends there too. They saw me as just one of the guys. We lived in a very small town in SW Missouri, Where we saw this in the school parking lot: Where going to Wal-Mart was a past time: And where the devil was always close behind: Then, when I was 15 I did the unexpected, and joined the cheerleading squad. I cheered for 3 years, and when I was a senior, I was promoted to Captain. I was the punkest cheerleader anyone had seen in a while. But then we graduated, Meagan got married and moved across the country, and i went off to college. Likes: I reunited with friends I had before high school, and I met a boy. And then, just a few months after that, he showed the side of him I didn't know about, and I'm still paying for it, emotionally & financially. Right after it happened, my friends from high school jumped in the car and drove 4 hours to see me. I didn't realize till then how lucky I was to have friends like them. So then it was back to the daily grind. The college life. I met a lot of great people there too. We experimented together. Got through tough times together. And I know we have plenty more experiences ahead of us. I lived on campus for one year. That was plenty of time for me. Dorm life was okay at first, but after my time was up, i was out of there in the blink of an eye. Dislikes: My friend, who I had met in the dorms, and I moved into our own place. It's only a couple miles away from campus, but it's nestled out in the woods. I couldn't be happier. My home was like a little community. Everyone helped out our landlord, Mary. In December 2009, she turned 89 years old. And she has a million and one stories to tell if you're willing to listen. Right after we moved in, my roommate turned 21. With age comes great responsibility. And many many hangovers. We usually enjoy some sweet, red wine. And occasionally cranberry juice with a few shots of vodka. In the late summer of 2009 I got to visit Meagan. Her sister, LeAnn, was getting married. So I took pictures for her. I felt like the professional wedding photographer. The only problem was, She married into rednecks. Favorite Music: I had already started my own club called, Color Me WIld for people who want to experiment with their hair, but it seems I've only been dying my friend's hair so far. Now that I'm out on my own, Life has started to get very interesting. It's been hurling a few unexpected curve balls towards my head. Trustworthy people have become unreliable. Lovers have become liars. Nothing is as it seems. One of my best friends from high school, graduated from boot camp in December 2009. He came back to visit for a few weeks, before the army swallowed him up again. Since I'm an adventurer, it was time to bring my new friends to meet my old friends. Especially in time of seasons changing, everyone needs a good friend. When our adventure was over, I reflected back on what all had happened that weekend. My new friends and old friends mixed very well. I can't even imagine having had a better time. My friends, new and old alike, Learned a lot about me as well as each other. In early 2010, I was jobless. I was alone and depressed. I had been kicked out of school for a low GPA, And I was constantly bumming and borrowing from all my friends. I had to stop dying my hair (which killed me) I felt like such a sell out. So when Spring finally came to Missouri, I felt like I had been reborn. Having had such a long and dreary winter, I'd never appreciated Life's natural beauty more than I did then. April 2010 was a very hectic and exciting month for me. My best friends put on their first show together, And you can check out their music on SoundCloud.com. Friends from all over the state came out to support them. And even though they didn't win the competition, They still put on a badass show. Also, I finally went to my first festival that month. You could probably say that it was life changing. And i highly recommend anyone to attend one. I went with my best friends and traded people candy for cigarettes, And hugs for smiles. It's almost been a couple years since then, but it feels like I'm still there. After being plunged into the world of festivals and raves, I didn't quite know what to do with myself. There were so many great people in both communities. But since the world of psychedelics was so new to me, I jumped right in almost forgetting about my roots. But I never forgot. About my friends from VF. I was just preoccupied with my new friends. The ones I took care of when they showed up at my house, after traveling across the country without much food or shelter. The couch surfers that I made muffins for, after they had been up for days. I enjoyed caring for people, giving out pillows and sandwiches. After the success of cidLix started to take off, I started dating one of the members. I eventually moved in with him, and started going to all their shows. I felt like the cidLix photographer. Even though sometimes I couldn't even work the camera...(UGS6) So FML, It's 2012 and I'm 22 years old now. I've been living with and dating Clayton for almost 2 years now. We both just got involved in the Occupy movement and are regulars at our own local site. cidLix hasn't played many shows as of lately, But then again, everything likes to slow down during winter. One thing that won't slow down however is the momentum of this movement. After being fired from my job for protesting, I left with Clayton to travel to the East Coast. We visited Washington DC and OWS in NYC. We protested the XL Pipeline and the eviction of sites. If you don't know what it going on right now, please educate yourself with this website. There is power in numbers and we need to stick together thru the winter to preserve our right as humans. Nowadays, I'm up to the usual no good. Still without a regular job, and investing most of my time in Occupy. So back to the shaved head and blue hair for me! I don't know what will happen next, But I'm eager to see what it turns out to be. Also, Thank You Global Warming for granting us such a mild winter. ~~~~~~~~~~My profile is currently under construction, since I am still alive and evolving~~~~~~~~~~~~ Questions? Comments? Concerns? Please feel free to leave me a message. I love meeting new people. Strangers are just potential friends. In Loving Memory Of Jason & Lee Whom We Lost In 2006 You Are Gone But Never Forgotten! Thank you, Katie. Please enjoy this video of my friends and I. I don't know what I would do without them. When I fall back down, I know that they will be there to pick me back up again. Treasure your friends, for they will become your family.
