Check the mail order section below.   Outerspace Overdose best describes their music as: 'Next Generation Industrial Glam Rock'. Outerspace Overdose was founded in 2005 by Joe Sinner (guitar, backing vocals, programming) and Seth Sodomy (vocals). They both were from the horror-shock-rock band 2Die4 that died in 2004. Also in that band Joe played guitar and backing vocals, and Seth the vocals. 2Die4 recorded and released two demos; 'Scapegoat' and 'Peepshow for the living dead'. At the end of 2005 Ufo (synthesizer, theremin and programming) joined Outerspace Overdose. He is also a talented musician and has released some cd's with his former band Zaphod. They then played the Summer Darkness festival (NL, 2007) and finished their debut album 'Pull The Stringk' (a quote by Bela Lugosi in an Ed Wood film). they got positive respons from the public, and selling albums all over the world. In early 2008 a new bassplayer got on the black train, his name is Thunders. This was what Outerspace Overdose needed to make their live shows more energetic. Thunders played his first live show with the band at Paradiso, Amsterdam. Dommelsch LiveXS chose Outerspace Overdose as one of the best Dutch Independant bands. And is busy with a year of touring with Dommelsch Locals Only on tour. They have played different festivals and are about to begin their clubtour across Holland. And Outerspace Overdose is working on a follow-up to 'Pull The Stringk'. Till this day the Black Train is unstoppable. ------------------------------------------------------- Outerspace Overdose from Alkmaar deliver with a daring and quite varied synthrock sound on their debut recording Pull the Stringk. Although the mix is not that convincing, the songmaterial of these youngsters from the north of Holland is. Outerspace Overdose presents fresh sounding rocksongs with analogue synths, roaring guitars, catchy beats and many samples on Pull the Stringk. Add a gothic voice straight from the grave, a bit of glam and a love for science fiction, B-horror and camp to it and you’ll get an idea what to expect. Somewhere in between Welle Erdball and Marilyn Manson, while they also explore gothicrock and electroclash. Worth mentioning is that this band makes use of a theremin in their sound, which really connects with the vintage element such as the sci-fi horror thematics. If this band would have had a decent studio budget and producer this would have been one hell of a recording, however now the tunes sometimes strand in a muddy sound. The electro industrial-rock of this outfit is very good nevertheless and it is surprising to see such a band rising in the Netherlands . This deserves support as these guys could get quite some success with their sound. If you like bands such as MSI, The Birthday Massacre, Deadsy and Orgy, you can’t go wrong with Outerspace Overdose.
