My Profile

Welcome, I'm Christian and this is who I am. I'm 19, and I've lived in this town for 12 years of my life now. I've graduated high school and now attend Ohio State University in Newark, majoring in physics, eventually specializing in quantum mechanics and then getting into string theory. My main goal in life, is to find a good lab to work, do research and perform experiments at, preferably in Europe, however unrealistic it may sound. Science, as does math, interests me greatly. Another thing that makes me who I am, like most people, is music. I am a singer, a composer and a poet. Take that how you may, I know what it means to me. Life has just started for me, and I finally plan to take advantages of opportunities, good times, but never leave out the people I'm closest with. Ever. Anything else you want to know, you may IM me, here, msn, whatever.

So before I list the obvious people, such as band members and well known people, I'm going to give a shout out to one who I desire to meet more than the rest, my best friend Laura from Scotland, who I have yet to meet. She has been my best friend for three years in novemeber of 07'. We met on VF and began talking then and started off from there. Since then we've sent letters back and forth, had internet sleepovers until morning, despite the 5 hour time differance, and even had an hour phone conversation before. I'd give up the chance to meet anyone so I could meet her. And despite college and the demands of life ripping us away from each other, including the vast distance, I refuse to every lose contact with her! Love you Laura! [[[To Christian, Love you, Laura<3333]]] Now I go into the well known people I'd love to meet. Who I have yet to meet: The next person in line to meet is Arjen Anthony Lucassen. His musical talent is my new inspiration to sing and become known, perhaps someday by Arjen himself. Marcela definatly covers that catagory as well because of her talented vocals. Devin as well, for his unique style of music. And last of all, Virgil. If I could go back in time and meet him, it would be great. He is one of the greatest inspirations in my poetry and his stories are amazing. Who I have Met: Well as of now I've met the entire band of Silverstein at least twice, been backstage with them and talked to Shane for awhile about Skating..I have also met the entire band of afi and had lovely conversations with them. They're definatly awesome, especially Smith, he's just a riot. I also talked to Matt of From First to last some, and met the entire band as well. I met the bassist from mindless self indulgence, I've met the band June and a few other underground bands. I met Aiden and got to yell at some of them for being late and keeping us in the heat. Likes: Singing, Writing & Reading Poetry, and being social. Politics, particularily debating my very conservative view points. I'm a singer, therefore I have interest in many singer's voices. Some singers that inspire me, in no order are: Nils K. Rue (Pagan's mind), Tom Englund (Evergrey), Ville Valo (HIM), Devin Townsend (Devin Townsend Band), Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion), Russel Allen (Symphony X). Dislikes: I don't have many dislikes, especially with people. I only ask of two things, you respect me as a person, and you are real to me. I hate fake people, I love the realness some people have around here, and I appreciate it when they act themselves.
