Profile: I am both a sinner and a saint. But most of all I am simply human. Each day is a struggle, an inner war with my own humanity. Some days I win, and rise above my flawed nature, Other days I lose and surrender to my base instincts. I hurt and am hurt. I love and am loved. Each day is a test of my very moral fibre, and another chance to be a better human than I was yesterday. I believe it is the small niceties such as smiling at a stranger, or taking an extra second to do something courteous for someone which make all the difference. Above all else, I want to constantly improve myself. I understand that I will never reach a flawless state. But that doesn't stop me from trying. I am cynical yet hopeful. I am waiting for someone to prove me wrong. I understand all too well the savageries of man. But I also believe we have the ability to change for the better. Even if we don't, giving up on humanity only contributes to the problem. Literacy is what I prize more than anything in this world. The ability to communicate clearly, effectively and passionately is what defines our interaction as human beings. Without this, what would we be? Talk to me. Befriend me. They just make you look infantile, unintelligent, and unattractive. I'm not going to hit on you because I don't find you attractive, and yes, I can see that you have a significant other.
