The name is Nell . Don't call me anything but that. I go to college at SUNY Cobleskill for Equine Studies. Thats horses, by the way. I am getting my Associates in that then plan to work my way into the field of animal rights. I am a vegetarian. I do not eat eggs anymore. I limit my dairy intake to cheeses and yogurt. If you are not a vegetarian, thats fine. I am not here to judge. But please do not assume things about me because my personal diet. Do not bug me about your silly "we are meant to eat meat" logic. It will not change my mind. And I will come back at you with research proving the OPPOSITE of your point. I am open minded. I am liberal, who'd have thunk it? I am for Obama and hope McCain and Palin get their asses handed to them. I am an atheist. I think freedom is the right of all sentient beings. I am obsessed with The Transformers . It's sick really, I am like a 12 year old boy.

What Matters
My boyfriend. His name is Raphael and he is my best friend. He is the only person I trust. I have known him since 10th grade. And during the summer of 2007 me and him became inseperable. In November of 2007, after a long time of flirting and cuddling, he asked me out. I am so in love with him its insane. He goes to Landmark College in Vermont and he is a freshman. The long distance sucks, but we talk everynight and its perfect.
Horses. They have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. I fell in love with them when I attended the Vershire Riding School in Vermont when I was 11. And since then, I have never been apart from them.
My dog Katie. She is a 12 year old West Highland White Terrier and she is my soul mate. I am convinced of this. I love her more than anything. She is perfect and I hate being away from her.
Pearl. This little cockitiel came to me during 4th grade when I found out that I had extreme learning disabilities. She kept me sane and was always there for me when I needed her the most. She died on June 22nd while I was attending Raphaels senior prom with him. She was only 9 years old. I miss her terribly and think about her every day. She is my little angel, and I know she is still with me in some way or another.
Animals. Every single one of them. I love them all. I want to tell them that its going to be ok. That some day humans wont abuse them, neglect them and exploit them as we do now. I want to hold them when they are sick, hurt and unhappy and laugh with them when they are joyous and free. Every single animal on this earth has the RIGHT to live peacefully, to reproduce, to feel the sun on their backs and the grass beneith their feet. They deserve to live out their lives without being murdered. Animals will always be domesticated, and because of that it is our duty to care for them as best as possible. I believe that I am here to change the lives for as many animals as possible.
