"We sometimes take refuge in misery, a strange kind of comfort."

Profile: I asked a few close friends how they would describe me in one word (and I understand that one word can't portray the intricacy of a person but I was curious nonetheless). Some of the responses include: artistic, compassionate, awesome, charming, adventurous. I realize that at the moment there aren't many responses but I've yet to ask. I like to think there's more to me than what meets the eye. I grew up listening to 90's and freestyle music (the former obviously because I grew up in the 90's). I played with lego's, transformers from the Beast Wars and Beast Machines series (my favorites of the show), and an assortment of other action figures. I loved making mix tapes to listen while I played, I still do only now it's CD's instead of tapes and rather than playing with toys I draw or XBOX. I enjoy hurting so good a little too much. By that I mean the needle of a tattoo gun piercing my skin 3000 times per minute. But the best part is the smell of fresh ink. The warmth of clothes fresh out of the dryer pressed against my chest while taking it to my room. Surprising myself is always a treat. For example, I'll sometimes get a banana split and not be in the mood to eat it immediately so I'll stash it in the freezer. Hours later, even days, I'll be craving just that, look in the freezer and find I have a remedy. I give props to sterling smiles. Lyrics that express perfectly how I feel sometimes. You'll sometimes catch me, more often than not, laughing at things I probably shouldn't be. e.g. Sasquatch beatin' on people, Mr. T explaining how handy he is with computers and creating his own class in WoW, Charlie getting shunned for not believing in candy mountain, Old Gregg offering some Bailey's. We all have our share of stories and though mine may not be as intriguing as others they are what make me...well, me! Likes: Music, art, umm... LOVES music. Music, like people, shouldn't be set into genres. You either like a song or you don't! But then again it's not always black and white, there Are shades of gray. Here are a few films I enjoy: Snatch, Lock Stock &; Two Smoking Barrels (&; other Guy Ritchie or Matthew Vaughn movies), O'Brother Where Art Thou?, The Big Lebowski (gotta love the Coen Brothers), Donnie Darko, Running With Scissors, Godzilla, Underworld, The Emperor's New Groove, X-Men 1-3, The Punisher (the 2004 version, not the 1989 one), Happy Feet, The Crow (City of Angels was a'ight but it just became repetitive after that, and I's walking through some shelves of movies and saw a fourth Crow was made...What The Hell Man!!!) Apocalypto, Children of Men (even though I only saw the first half due to a major headache), Slingblade, The Incredibles, Sin City, Alpha Dog was a decent film, Hercules (yes the Disney animated movie), Caveman, The Rundown, The History of Violence was okay, Saw 1-3.... Some movies I'll only watch to see a scene from a trailer. Like in Barnyard: "Dude I got an arm!" "Righteous" "doodle-o-doodle-do-do". Invader Zim, The Benny Hill Show, Family Guy, That 70's Show, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Seinfeld, Lost, X-Men: Evolution, The Batman, cartoons, umm... Dislikes: I'll have to think about this one. This has been an ongoing series my brother and I have been working on we call Shrapnel. It follows the mercenary team, Sleipnir. Favorite Music: Korn, K-os, Muse, Elvis Presley, Depeche Mode, Deftones, She Wants Revenge, Radiohead, Coheed & Cambria. (You can thank RawBlackFuckingMetal for introducing me to the following) Gromm, Walpurgisnacht, Setherial, Sammath, Antaeus, Ad Hominem, Anthropolatri, Bastaardumm, Branikald, Mortuus Infradaemoni, Semargl, MoonBlood, Moontower, Ondskapt...I love most music...Homepage: http://www.myspace.com/nnyquestionsz
