{Greetings}

My name is Mia. I am nineteen years old and currently live in London, England. I am a college student surviving on no real source of income but I do my best to get by.

Most of my interests can be classed as nerdy. I enjoy video games (mainly RPG's), action figures, reading fantasy fiction, watching films and the occasional TV show and cosplaying at conventions. I also enjoy writing letters to penpals, dancing in Alternative clubs and travelling.

My current aim on VF is to find like-minded people to have casual conversation with.

I am not interested in dating or flirting or anything else along those lines, in real life or online. Please take a note of this now to avoid embarrassing situations in the future.

I suppose I would be classed as fairly liberal. I am pro-choice, an ally of the LGBTQ community, I support euthanasia and am against the death penalty. I take part in a penpal program writing to long-term, life and death row inmates in various jails across the USA.

That's all for now.

{Music}

I like a wide variety of music ranging from vintage country to industrial to sleaze to old crooners.

{Books}

I usually give anything a chance but my favourite books are either fantasy fiction or depressing modern novels that involve a lot of smoking and life contemplations.

{Dislikes}

People who use mental illness or addiction to make some kind of fashion statement. As someone who has struggled with both and is still in recovery it sickens me when people think they're something to use to get attention. By pretending you have these conditions you are belittling everyone who has struggled against them and turning them into some kind of joke or novelty and I have yet to see the benefits of this. If you do not have these conditions count yourself lucky. Most of us would choose not to have them if we could.

Radical feminists who start campaigning for female superiority rather than gender equality. You are no better than the people you protest against. While misogyny may be far more common than misandry turning the tables the other way would solve nothing.

People who assume that every social interaction is a step in trying to bed them.
Sometimes talking or friendship is just that.

Victim shamers, rape apologists and people who think rape jokes are amusing.

Racists, sexists, homophobes and religious extremists.

I could probably go on but I prefer to focus on the good things in life.
