My name is "Menty". Friends call me "Nubz", "Nubby", or by my birth name, "Sarai" (pronounced Sarah, for those of you who didn't know. Yes, I have a strangely spelled name, but it's awesome anyway.)
Someday, I want to work somewhere in the film industry. Hopefully, as a director. I've always had a dream to bring all of these ideas I've been coming up with in my mind to life. It all started with watching some music videos from a little band called Tool. The visionary for these spectacular works of art was none other than one of my greatest inspirations to this very day, Adam Jones, the band's guitarist/artist/music video director etc. He has inspired me musically and artistically through these years of my life, and the years to come.
There are other individual's who have inspired me on this creative journey of mine such as Trent Reznor, Emilie Autumn, Mark Romanek (notably for his work on NIN's music videos), David Lynch, Alex Gray, Zdzisław Beksiński, Camella Grace, Chet Zar, Les Claypool, and Justin Chancellor.
Currently, I am using Youtube as my creative outlet:

I make my videos under the name "IAmMenty" since "Menty" was already taken. At the moment, I'm working on speedpainting, editing AMV/GMV's, making game commentaries, and the occasional vlog/random little something. In time, I would like to start working at a much higher level such as animation, music videos, and comedy skits. The ideas are there, solid in my mind, yet I don't have everything written out and properly planned. There are times when I may just go out and shoot some footage and eventually turn it into something like a music video, but only time will tell. I'll just roll with the punches and see what comes up.
If you're interested in what I have to offer, please subscribe! :D I greatly appreciate every like, comment, and subscriber I recieve!
I usually do not upload on a regular basis, I find my own time to make and upload my videos. I simply do not have the time to upload on a regular basis, as much as I would like to. There are times in which I will have a massive upload, and in those times, I'm usually very bored or have just haven't found the time to upload all of the projects I've been working on.

I aspire to be a DJ. Even though my mixes may turn out to be absolute shit one day down the road, I'll still enjoy the adrenalin rush of jumping around like a crazed lunatic and pressing a whole assortment of buttons. I'm currently working with the program Mixxx to learn the basics of mixing tracks and maybe even more features.
I'd also would like to attend a variety of electronic music festivals in order to get some inspiration from other DJ's and their stage performances. Even though it's basically just a bunch of "button mashing", I'd probably just try to pin point where each sound is coming from, layer-wise and try to put some ideas together for my own mixes. Instead of dreaming, "I want to be in a band!" like I have for ages, I've found out that I'm more of a music appreciator than a musician. Yes, I play viola, bass guitar, and electric guitar, and I may do something with it down the road, but it isn't my initial calling. I enjoy sharing music with others and introducing them to the other corners of the music world they have left unexplored.

People usually describe me as being very eccentric when compared to most people. Artistic, intelligent (I have my very slow/stupid moments, that's for sure. Basically, that's where the nickname "Nubby" originated from.), musical, caring, understanding, kind (there are times when I can be a complete asshole to someone, yet they would have had to annoy me on some level. If I ever become annoyed, I would most likely let you know), passionate, fun, hilarious, bubbly, distant (yet can be the center of attention at some times), conflicted, creative, lazy, emotional, crazy, usually very optimistic, and spontaneous.

Film, art, music, photography, writing, the Portal games, Minecraft, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Pokemon, Let's Play videos (Pewdiepie, Cr1tical, and Tobuscus are my favorites at the current moment), anime, manga, Elfen Lied, the art of: Gustav Klimt, Zdzisław Beksiński and Alex Gray, Films by: Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, Ridley Scott, and Katheryn Bigelow (mainly because her film "The Hurt Locker") My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, wolves, trying to make other people happy (but not degrading myself in the process), travelling, concerts, wine, sushi, CAKE (even though in Portal, it is completely a LIE D:), Companion Cube, spriting, old gaming systems, carbonated beverages, driving, going on adventures, nature, autumn leaves, snow, viola, violin, guitar, bass, piano, turntables, history, neon lights, sunshine, Wheatley (from Portal 2), the humor of GlaDOS (also from Portal 2), game mods, etc...
When technology refuses to work with me, too much stress, cars that ride low to the ground make me extremely motion sick, when people are too dependent on someone and not themselves (been there, done that), confusion, when people type "liek d1s" or constantly ask for pictures. (I'll have you know, I'll have some tricks up my sleeve to get a laugh out of that certain situation), when people of a certain religion try to make me feel like a bad person for not being a part of their religion, politics and government (even though I'm taking advanced placement classes for government, I'm not at all interested in it- *just wants to look good on transcripts even though it has nothing really to do with her career plan* -facepalms-

IS THIS WHERE I GO ON ABOUT HOW AWESOME MY FRIENDS ARE? They're the epitome of awesome. I'd go into way more detail, but it's like 2 in the morning, plus, I'm lazy.

I HAVE NONE, MUAHAHA!!! I SHALL NOT CONFORM! ...Maybe...

LIKE MUSIC & SHIT-
As for music goes, I like just about everything. I like to be open minded about these kinds of things, but there are just some attributes of certain genres that repulse me. Some artists that I really like right now are as follows: Tool, A Perfect Circle, Rishloo, iAMX, Sneaker Pimps, Nine Inch Nails, Puscifer, Austra, Opeth, Infected Mushroom, Crystal Castles, Radiohead, Tobacco, Sigur Ros, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Shpongle, etc. (Just ask "Have you heard of this band? yaddi yaddi yada..., I'll talk to you about music any day.) I mostly listen to music from the progressive, electronic, hardstyle, trance, dubstep, and metal genres, but other genres may be welcome. (Since, I stated previously I was open minded to most music)
