About Me
I believe in Rock and Roll. Yes, It sounds silly. I am silly. My name is Meike McCartney and i live in a suburb to Copenhagen, Denmark. What about me? It's about me... I want to tell you: I’m not famous, I’m not perfect and I’m not looking like a super model. I’ve got some skills. I'm a pretty good photographer, author and like to act sometimes - at least in my everyday ;) And when i say, that I believe in rock and roll it doesn’t mean that i want to become a Rock star. No. I like to write stories, longer than a few sentences. That's my own foolish business: D But I guess I feel the same way as many musicians! - A story is a story, and stories have to be told! I can lie in my bed, and just let them come to me. They never stop. It's like, some kind of work, you just can't let go. And I see them all over the world - the ideas - In Berlin, Copenhagen, Rome, Paris, Stockholm, Oxford, Lisbon, where ever i am! So when i have to tell about myself, i tell that i am some kind of symbolic storyteller. Nothing but that could fit… Well, maybe a little insane some time, but hello! we're all aloud to freak out, have some fun :b And the real Rock and Roll can be found, just around you. Because Rock and Roll is beautiful, and there's beauty in everyone. You just have to believe in it. That's a skill too, and I’m just about to get it. xoxo.
