Profile: Hi I'm Lee ( but I like 'Marquis de...' I'm a big 'Neverwhere' fan!), I'm an art student, mainly sequential (comic books!) and I'm like most people really, full of contradictions. I tend to get totally absorbed in whatever I'm doing at the time to the exculsion of anything else. I'm a dramatic person, but in a good way, you have to have drama in your life sometimes. I love the dramatic, theatrical gestures and motions and I try and include them in my every move. Being an artist I like everything I do to be beautiful and elegant in its own way, as beauty and elegance are two of my favourite things. And yes, I am pretentious sometimes, but only when its really funny to be so! I try and enjoy everything in life, nature, people, music, art, friendship and love. I don't and have never smoked, taken drugs or tasted alcohol. I especially like the absurd and unnecessary. Being a 'creative type' ( I love having that for a reason!) when I'm happy I'm on top of the world, but when I'm sad its all doom and the end of the world, although that maybe because I'm a man.... Anything you want to know, just ask!! Oh and if your from Swindon and want to hang out, being a student here and all I'm looking to make some new friends so feel free to message me! No-one has the right to take another's body or life. Likes: Rain, laughing, Reading any kind of stories, novels, comics, poetry and songs. Thinking, an odd choice I know. Those tiny moments when you are totally aware and in sync with the world or when you sit it in peace whilst the world ebb and flows around you. Being around people who love and understand me. Oh and drawing. Favourite books: 'House of Leaves', 'Catcher in the Rye', 'Flowers for Algernon','1984', 'V for Vendetta', 'Nightwatch', 'Kokoro', 'World War Z', 'The Outsider (L’Étranger)', 'Neverwhere' and so many more.... Favourite movies: Anything by George A. Romero, 'Kairo', 'Willard' 'The Crow', 'Suicide Circle', 'Aeon Flux (The original series, not the movie.),'The Machinist', '28 Days/Weeks Later', 'Ghost In The Shell' (and 'Stand Alone Complex'), 'Event Horizon', 'Serial Experiments: Lain' amongst others.... Dislikes: People who see a lack of education, violent tendencies and having no compassion or tolerance as virtues. Violence in general and the people who resort to it. Forgetting myself and my beliefs and acting callously or cruelly. Alcohol, any kind of drugs, personally speaking. I don't begrudge others who indulge in them. We're all free to make our own choices. And anyone who adds as a friend but never introduces themselves or speaks to you.
