I am the Radical Librarian, with a ciggerette in one hand and a cuppa in the other. I am very fond of my work and enjoy classic literature, poetry, medical books referring to random subjects which interest (numerouse testicals, the elephant man, schizophrenia etc..) I enjoy books with more dramatic profound meanings such as "the Hours" by Micheal Cunnigham, murder mysterys or just mystery novels such as the works of Agatha Christie or Elizabeth Peters. Horror especially interests me weather it be classic such as Edgar Allen Poe or more modern such as Dennis Lehane's "Shutter Island" I have spent the majority of my life living in asia but for about a year and a half, i have been living in europe. Currently I live in a small town in souther Spain.
I enjoy bakeing, reading, occasionly writing, reasearching something or another, watching old horror movies, my job (but not my boss) making and drinking tea, shopping online, having a round of beers with mates, silence, walking barefoot through grass, stopping and smelling the flower, making sarcastic comments, reading lists, reading blogs and message boards, tequila, rum miel, stormy grey days, smoking smoking smoking.
Loud obnoxiouse people who have nothing to say or talk non-stop, I cannot STAND these sort of people! People who put on unnecessary airs in order to appear superior, people who type with too much chat speak, Kindles, days which are too sunny or too hot, coffee, willfull ignorance, being bothered when i am attempting to concentrate, whiskey.
Classic rock such as Zepplin, Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Cheap Trick, Bad Company etc. Slightly more modern rock and indie such as the Arctic Monkeys or the Black Keys. Blues and Jazz artists including Miles Davis, Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong and finally I am also very very fond of Classical music such as Chopin, Vivaldi, Mozart, Rachmoninov and Bach. (mainly artists from the Baroque period)
