Well let's start off with the basics...My name's Maura, I'm 18 and currently live in Martinsburg, West Va. I am originally from Long Beach, Ca and I miss it a lot. However, Martinsburg has proven to have some up sides. In the last year I have met a lot of people and started advancing in my passion in photography. I have a job at a lowsy fast food joint for a steady income and photograph and model for a fetish furniture company called Dark R.O.P.E on the side.
I am a very artistic person. I love all types of art really: literature, painting, sketching, photography, modeling, acting, and a lot more. I love to create. I love unique perspectives. I have had a lot of my work called disturbing and a bit morbid...not all of it is and more than likely, if it is...it is because I intended it to be. Art is not Safe.

I am a very determined person. When I want something to happen, I'll make it happen. I hate owing people things, so I tend to want to pay for everything myself.
I love reading, I am a total nerd really haha. I'll read both fiction and non-fiction, it all depends on what my mood is really. I am also a big film lover, however, ironically, I have been told I havn't seen a lot of films. haha :/
I tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor and sometimes people don't always understand that. So there is pretty much no reason to talk to me if you do not have some type of sense of humor.

Lately I have been focusing on going to school here in Sheperdstown, WV for Photography and Computer Design. I have been really busy setting up everything with moving out and my new position as one of the head photographers at Dark Rope. I am on here a lot since I love computers so if you want to chat leave me a comment or send me a message, I'll more than likely shoot you one back...well if you give me something to reply to that is.
