Dear listener,
our latest work is a collection of industrial-gothic-dance remixes, entitled "Deuxvolt HORRORMX", and it contains 4 classics from the horror movie universe (remixed by Just).
Whe thought you might find useful to have our original interpretation of each track.
01. THE EXORCIST "Glaubst du nicht an den Teufel?" meaning "Don't you believe in the devil?" After nearly 40 yers from the movie "The Exorcist" (1973), Deuxvolt make a tribute to the movie theme "Tubular Bells" by Mike Oldfield. Classical instruments, church choirs, poltergeist's noises, devilish riffs and a devastating beat... At the end of this track you can listen to the recording of a real exorcism: it is Anneliese Michel, a german girl whose demonic possession experience became a scoop. A really creepy ending.
02. DRACULA BRAM STOKER An electro-goth tribute to the movie theme of the unforgettble movie by Francis Ford Coppola. The italo-american film director illustrated at best the famous work of Bram Stoker, telling the vampire's love story. The original theme is entitled "Vampire Hunters".
03. THE CROW "It can't rain all the time.." So spoke Eric Draven, main character of '90s' most popular dark story. "The Crow" was originally a novel by James 'O Barr, written in the late '80s, but became so popular with the movie interpreted by Brandon Lee, his last, tragical movie. The remix originates from the guitar solo Eric plays in the movie, sitting on the roof of his former home.
04. EQUINOX Tribute to the original song "Profondo Rosso" by Goblin, and to the omonimous film directed by the italian horror master Dario Argento.
Thank you for your kind attention, and enjoy listening!
We were born from the power of nothing, from a gasp of Mozart's hand or from a cyber-futuristic reality where past and future merge; From an ancient novel's quill, from the cold light of a screen, in a nightmarish dream -sometimes reality- in the dark dance of an unreal night.
