I love artsy stuff and music, with my favourite genres being Metal, Hard Rock and Gothic. I like to watch anime, read manga and play video games (both of the PC and Xbox variety). Games I own are Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Halo 3, Mirror's Edge, Soul Calibur 4, Fable 2, Gears of War, Red Alert 3, Command and Conquer 3, Baldur's Gate (1 and 2) and World of Warcraft.
I'm a fairly quiet person and many would probably find me boring. I have a few personality quirks but it's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm relatively fastidious and love learning new interesting facts about things. I also have (I think) a relatively good sense of humour - mostly involving puns, wordplay and dirty jokes. I have an IQ of 126, which is above average.
I'm always honest - if sometimes even to a fault - as I have Asperger's Syndrome (it's a mild Autism, but worry not as I'm still relatively "normal", if not a little eccentric). I have a set way of doing things but it works for me.
I'm not sure exactly what I want to do in life. I still live at home and am currently unemployed, but once I sort some things out I intend to either get a full time job or study (fields I'm considering are Psychology, I.T., Writing or International Relations).
I do not drink, smoke or do drugs - but I am not straight edge. I still drink soft drinks and coffee, and my reason for abstaining from alcohol is because when I drink I tend to make a complete and utter dick of myself. I am not into the pub/club/party scene at all, and odds are that if you ARE into these things (drinking/smoking/drugs/partying/clubbing/pubbing) we would probably not get along too well.

I love the night time, and by nature my sleep pattern is nocturnal. I love artificial lights - especially fluorescent and those you see in the city from a great distance away. It just looks magic to me. I'm a bit of an insomniac, usually being unable to sleep until at least 2-4am, and can generally sleep better through the day as long as the sun's not shining directly through my window.
I like getting to know people from all walks of life and like to understand them. I find it fascinating to know what makes them tick. I also like understanding people that aren't superficial, so I ask that if you do add me as a friend or message me that you do so with sincerity and an open mind, as I am very different to almost anyone you have ever spoken to.
I like cats (though not the fur they tend to spread everywhere) and have 2 cats of my own - Bob and Lexi. Not so much into dogs but as long as they're quiet and don't lick me I have no dramas with them.
I also like geeks and coding. Coding is hot.

I think that sluttiness and sleeping around (both men AND women) is disgusting and immoral. I really have to wonder where along the lines of history did Goth-dom become about being a complete and utter whore that's constantly going out to parties/clubs/pubs/what-have-you and getting boozed up and sleeping around.
I dislike general ignorance and stupidity. If you're too superficial and shallow to consider how anyone else is that isn't similar to yourself, you aren't worth my time and sure as hell shouldn't be worth the time of others.
VF stalkers, people who add me but don't say anything, and people who can't make up their mind. I don't bite so if you want to add me, then add me. If you don't, then don't, but if you add me at least say Hi and tell me a bit about yourself. I realise I've made a profile on a public socializing network, but don't just add me for the sake of satisfying your self-inflated ego of having more numbers on your friends list. I am not a number, I am a person (albeit a rather strange, anti-social withdrawn person).
People who think that they are socializing and leading a fun life with friends by just blindly following a bunch of random people around that look the same as you. People who believe that fun involve clubbing, partying, drinking themselves into a stupor all the time and/or taking drugs are also not worth my time.
I hate girls (and guys) that think that the most important thing in life is looks, shopping, and clothes. Yes, clothes are important because otherwise we'd be going around naked, but clothes are a form of self expression and can be quite costly for the "better" items. Money doesn't grow on trees.
