::THE STORY

My name is Gothrix.
You might get the fact that it isn't my real name, but there's no need for you to know it just yet.
Gothrixus is a solo project. Gothrix is my alias. Don't confuse them.
The music I create is mainly made for myself. If I can please others with it, it's a nice bonus.
Quite frankly I don't care if you hate it or not. This music is MY therapy.
I've been judged because of not sticking to one genre, and I've told those people to stick their useless commentaries up their asses.
To be honest, when I produce the music you hear, I'm mostly stoned. It's nothing to be proud of, but nothing to be ashamed of as well.
Music is my exhaust pipe, and the weed is just the carrier. If you want to judge me on that, by all means do so. You'll quickly find out I couldn't care less.
If fans and VF members take the time and effort to leave me a nice comment (no useless comments though) I tend to take the time and effort as well to reply to them.

I have a social life too. So for the ones who think I'm busy for over 12 hours a day with music: you are wrong.

A bit about myself:
I'm somewhat an average 22 year old European guy, who happens to have a thing for music.
I am together with my loveable fiancee Ant (Ancient_Masamune @ VF).
My wish is to become a regular game soundtrack composer for one or more game design companies. Well, that or movie/show soundtracks.
I enjoy gaming, and relaxing in the couch in front of the PSx, with a mug of tea or coffee (and the occasional spliff).
Some people really want to label me, and seem the get it wrong. If you had to label me: a slice of hippie, a dash of punk, and a pinch of goth.
