Since I don't like to have another Likes/Dislikes profile I'm going to write down some stuff, Sorry for my disapointing primitive and underdeveloped use of english. But I suppose that you cannot blame a dutchman for that.
Well.. Where to start. I deleted the first part of my story and now I don't have a good proper opening-sentence anymore. Such a pity.. 'Just remember I'll always have a special place for you' Somewhere buried deep.
I'm following a four-year educational course for sound technician and musicproducer. Afterwards I'll see what the future brings me since I really don't know where I'll be in ten years. Trying to live today instead of tomorrow left me passing through yesterdays
Music is the main priority in my life I sing allot, play some guitar and sometimes keyboard too.
I enjoy almost everything between Heavy metal to Blueslike Rock to Psychedelic Chillout/Trance and goa, back to Death metal and NSBM and then back all the way to EBM, industrial and psytrance. Some of my favorites are tough, Anathema,(the old)Nightwish,Pain,Endstille,Therion,Sentenced,Type O negative,Jimi Hendrix,Infected Mushroom,Poisonblack,BLS,The Prodigy,Motörhead,Hypocrisy,Marduk,Ragnarok,Darkthrone,Johnny Cash, Peter Tosh and go on and on and on. Actually.. I just listen to almost everything that sounds good to me.
I am not really the happy, optimistic kind of person, not attract your attention or display drama. And I don't want to continue the discussion on this matter anyway. I do have reasons of my disspeared habit to attend to misery. But you'll probably never know.
But this brings a couple of idols in my life And I'd like to list them up. Because they mean allot to me. First. Tuomas Holopainen(Nightwish,For My Pain) and Kurt Cobain(Nirvana) They inspire me in any kind of way and they have my full respect. Also the following mean allot to me: Mats levén,Henrik Danhage(Evergrey),Peter steele-RIP-(Type O negative,Carnivore) Sven Atle Kopperud(Dimmu Borgir), Ville Laihiala(Sentenced,Poisonblack), Johnny Depp, and Vincent Cavanagh(Anathema) Damn, That part just felt like I was thanking my influences on some soloproject or something, well that would have been nice. Now seriously. Both their musical creations and being is the one thing that keeps me going now and then. There's just no way to show these guys me gratitude. Another passion is that I study (cultural) religion and anything spiritualy,or more like divine-related, from Christianity to Asatrú, Anton Lavey's so called Church of Satan going on thing,Buddishm back to old Celtic or pagan fertility rituals and go on. I study allot of literature, such as the bible, the quran,the edda,but also books such as Mao Zedong's red book and Mein Kampf. Studying shaman rites,Exploring divine realisations of another psychedelic universe. And I meditate quite allot. This provided me with 'my' vision on life, or call it religion, and moral codes Therefore I consider myself as a quite spiritual person also leaving me writing down theories about nothing actually. But I just cannot stop wondering what life is all about.
Also I have a weak for Poetry Not to denigrate Shakespeare but thats a bit too cliché. He wrote drama, comedy and those things. Not that much of a poet to me Allen Edgar Poe though is my favorite more poet-like poet. And Dante's Inferno still remains my favorite book ever,(Which also isn't really that much of poetry though) But damn, I also stood there in the halls of a college reading first class students poetry on painted paper for their art lessons. Totally forgot the world around me just visualising their story. And I find myself quoting them now and then. Funny though is that Despite of this percipient lifestyle I used to be as impulsive as accepted. Seeking and trying to cross all kinds of borders Doing allot of hazardous things and life for the day. This behaviour brought along allot of awesome and special moments but also allot of fucking trouble. I make allot of friends though. Wherever I go. I try to overthink things a little bit more nowadays.. But its my life and my decisions and I wanna live it my way, And so shall I. As for the good old Carpe Diem.
I really like engine technology too. And love to tinker on cars and motorcycles I also own a heavily customized 500cc four-cilinder though in my country you have to be 21 to drive such a vehicle But since its a nice oldtimer it needs quite some attention Its a nice sparetimethingtodo. For now It runs and works fine again now so I'm quite proud of that.
Live Fast, Die Young, Rock 'n Roll all Night long Maybe is not really my thing deep inside though. But some concerts and to party hard till sunrise is a great escape and relief sometimes, and also just terribly fun! And quite important too if you ask my opinion. Just to escape from the routine, reality. And even just life now and then. Sex, drugs and Rock 'n roll, Speed, weed and birth-control. Lifes a bitch until you die. So fuck the world and lets get high
Its a good thing to live for the moment and take things in an open view, and push things as far as possible, and to do it hard. Why live everything narrowminded and boring? Life is no party, unless you make it one. And its better to do so. Or atleast sometimes. I have some sleeping problems, concentration problems when stress takes the best of me, Problems with my selfesteem and several bad habbits and vices now and then. 'Nothing special Nobody's perfect. And you're neither.
I hope that what I just did, Writing down a bit about me what was on my mind was interesting enough for your amusement. and satisfaction.
