Profile: ETHEREALISED are...CELESTIA : vocals, pootling on various instruments, programming and zootyness. Altho' ETHEREALISED is an amateur project, Celestia is a professional musician who usually works in a somewhat different genre – singing with 2 different Jazz bands who gig across the UK. She has also occasionally been spotted singing at Folk sessions in pubs; or performing Baladi (a traditional Arabic dance form more commonly known in the West as Belly Dancing) at hafla's, parties, workshops, etc. MOONCAT : guitars, pootlings on various other instruments, programming, lo-fi samples and general moping about... also recording / mixing and band photography / photomanipulation. MARTHA'S HARBOUR is the only cover version currently on this profile : our version of an old song by the wonderful All About Eve (BTW they're still going & better than ever... well worth going to see Live!). THERE FOR ME is in a quasi-triphop stylii (we're big Portishead / Massive Attack / Tricky / Sneaker Pimps / Morcheeba fans!); BLUE RIVER is a rough demo of a song idea written (& performed solo) by Mooncat. Whereas most of our tracks were recoreded multitrack at home in our Clockwork Powered analogue attic studio SWEET TALK was recorded live at Red Tape Studios on ProTools. It was written by us & arranged / recorded with the help of Omith Mukajee (who feats on this track playing some well fuckin' kickass lead guitar). MOONLILY is another Mooncat solo piece a Spanish / Classical guitar instrumental The above tracks are a few years old now... our more recent material leans towards a fuller sound in an Ethereal / Darkwave sorta stylii. Recordings of this music have spent many moons languishing in a half finished state, floating in the Ether.
