A poem I wrote in ancient sumerian, for those who know the language, enjoy. For those who do not and care enough to, just ask me and I'll translate it.

I am but one. Forged of mettle not of this earth. After all, they are only human. My soul is my blade; carried high and strong, for there is no cloak to hide this blade. I am deeper than the sunset, the oceans, and the mourning cry of one's lost love. My waters are forever, but crystal to those who would soar up and gaze without doubt. I harbour no mirk. I am only myself, I can be no other. The one mask I own was bourne to be mine, for as my destiny, it is all I need wear. To know me is to know one's self, thus I can only be seen as far as one's sight allows. I am eternal, and do not show, for I must be seen. I do not betray what sight would behold. Doubt is blind, lies are shallow, carry either of these, and watch your sight fail. Tread my waters, only if ye be pure; corrupt yourself, and ye shall drown. I will not save a drowning soul, for one must swim to truly be alive.
