If you can't be bothered to read this, then don't bother me. I am a restless insomniac most nights. Ok, every night. This leaves me to surf the web out of boredom & curiosity. I suppose that this could be connected to my addiction to coffee. I work hard. but play harder, however the "lazy" days that I do manage to enjoy are spectacular in their own ways. I'm a sucker for dark chocolate or an amazing massage. Actually, nothing can compare to a good back massage after a long day. I play bass, violin & I'm also teaching myself guitar. I also draw a lot. Music and art has saved my life & given me purpose. I'm heavy into photography & currently experimenting with high dynamic range photography. I did receive my HS diploma and attended one year of open studies @ RDC. I intend to go back as soon as I select a definite career choice. To be quite honest, I have no clue what I want to do with my life yet. It will take me where I need to go & has so far. All I know is that I want to make a difference. No matter how small. I live in the moment and it has its perks. I try to be an optimist in a pessimistic world, but it can be quite the challenge some days. I don't believe in following others. I'd rather forge my own path. The only way I learn is by gushing blood or breaking bones. I am a vegetarian & have been since I turned 17. I do it for the health benefits. I believe strongly in leading a health life as much as I can. I work out & box regularly. UFC & MMA are for guys who like to roll around on the ground with other men. I'm not into that. I take care of my body, obese people disgust me. Call me shallow, I don't care. My mother and father are not together. I have not shared words with them in a long time. This is due to the fact I grew up mostly in group care. Bounced around from place to place. I am not a fan of the social system and how it deals with adolescents. I'm happy those days are behind me now. I hate reflecting on this part of my life. I admit I am affectionate & a bit of a hopeless romantic and I am quite chivalrous at times (without going overboard). It takes awhile for me to warm up to someone. So don't expect this right out of the gate. Respect is a two way street. Obviously I like to get down and grimy being a punk. I have several tattoos and 8 piercings as they can be very addictive. I know how to have a good time, all the time. I'm very energetic, but not attention seeking by any means. I do enjoy morbid, dark & spooky things a great deal. I smoke pot & play video games (PS3), so if that is a problem don't even bother me. Now, it says to talk about my taste in music... I try to keep an open mind but I can't stand top 40 or country. Nothing beats the classics. In summation, I like goth (even the dance stuff), heavy metal, punk, heavy bass / break beats / electro, jazz / blues, acoustic and the occasional classical composer or two. I can always listen to H.I.M. I'm not going to make a list just so one can judge me on it. It has to do with what mood I am in... More or less. I'm an avid woodland milsim participant. I also skateboard / snowboard (harder now that I've dislocated and abused my body so much) & travel to mountain bike. I also enjoy back country motorsports when I get the chance. So I guess you could say I love the outdoors. Unlike most men who watch nothing but sports on television, I only follow the world cup. There's plenty of other good channels out there besides spike. I don't watch much T.V. because It can make you docile. I loath politics, religion, government authorities & everything pertaining to them. I also dislike people who can not defend their views & outlook on life. These are the ideologies that define who you are. Without them, how can you know who you really are? Speak the truth, be confident in your opinions, speak with complete absolution & live with no regrets. This is how many have succeeded in obtaining my interest. As I try to surround myself with other like minded individuals, I do not believe in wasting intellect or time. Anyway, I don't feel up to writing much more, but I may add on when I do...
