About Me
Hello! My name is Cindy Phan, or Cindy Phan-tastic as my friends call me. I'm 15 years young. I'm full Vietnamese but was born in Redmond, Washington. I lived in Kent until I lost my parents in 2003 and moved in with my uncle-on-the-dad's-side's family in Kirkland which includes his wife and two girls. I have five pets: two dogs, a bearded dragon, a snake, and a hamster. I have many friends that I love and adore as well as amazing family members. These people mean the world to me. I'm a very curious teenager that's always looking for something interesting to do. Life has so much to it and is too wondrous to waste time being bored, so I am constantly planning new adventures to go on, projects to complete, and goals to chase after. I truly believe that anything is possible if you want it bad enough and that you should love the bad days because they're what make the good days great! I'm extremely optimistic and very rarely get depressed. If I do, it doesn't last that long before I get distracted by something that kicks up my mood. My main goal in life is to have as much fun as possible. I love people and can't stand being alone for a long amount of time unless I'm working on something big or am passed out tired.
My interests include almost everything. The world interests me in so many ways. Life is just so amazing, and it's mind-boggling to think about the many great possibilities there are in a lifetime. Some of my hobbies include sports such as Volleyball, concert hopping, jumping on trampolines, eating rice and drinking tea, doodling and decorating, having water balloon fights and running through sprinklers like a little kid then attempting to dry myself with a hairdryer afterwards, attending festivals and fun events, photography, venturing, smiling and laughing over silly things, traveling, writing, blasting my music, shopping so much that I swear my closet is going to eat me, and just going places and meeting people sums it all up pretty well since it's very likely to lead to a great time and fun activities, which I'm always searching for. I live for fun and believe it's the most essential ingredient to a healthy life. I value free education and try my best in school. I want to be, or start, something exciting when I grow up. I'm just not quite sure what, there's so much too choose from!
Not many things make me tick. I have pretty high tolerance and I don't want to waste precious time holding grudges anyway. Well, if you're chasing after me with a frying pan or something of that sort, I'd probably lash out at you then.
I'm an inconsistent decision maker when it comes to my favorites. Like for example, when it comes to my favorite type of music, I'd just say "Whatever makes me happy." How can I even decide on a favorite color when there's so many that are all just so beautiful? I had this conversation with a friend one time and he said "What about brown? It's so ugly looking, plain, and looks like either mud or poop, I can't decide. It's just ugly." And I told him to think of it this way: Brown might look like mud or poop, but it's a giant mixture of many bright and gorgeous colors he does like, brown holds it all and is just so magical that way. He told me that even though brown holds all those pretty colors, it still looks like crap, so it fails. We had a good laugh.
There are so many things I want to do before I die, I can't even remember them all! But I'm just one person, living just one little life out of so many. I must always make the best of what I have and make this the best lifetime I can; otherwise I can't die peacefully when my time comes. It's definitely a downer thinking that one day I'll be forced to leave this wondrous place, but that makes me even more destined to complete my mission!
Thanks for reading! I love you all!
