The year was 1981. Researchers at the Umbrella Laboratory in Alaska managed to successfully complete their objective; accelerate plasma beams into the Draco Dwarf galaxy, known to have the highest concentration of dark matter. It was their hopes to displace a minuscule amount of this dark matter to study its influence on worldly matter. But science is a touchy thing these days, and as we all know the Umbrella Cooperation has had it�s many run-ins with error. The results are what nightmares are made of�
Draco Dwarf, using its Dark Satellite already orbiting Earth for thousands of years, transported a Dark Matter being into the realm that we know through Umbrella's own plasma beams. Thus destroying the laboratory and trapping It in our world, unable to return and unable to complete it's purpose of linking the realms. The being faced it�s adversaries with an aura not unlike that of a black hole. Umbrella responded the only way they knew how- Obey. The Dark being identified itself as the Monster Cypher Samael, and demonstrated It�s capacity for shape shifting, hypnotism, psychokinesis, and telekinesis. With a taste for mischief and curiosity taking control, this Monster ventured out into the mortal world�.
