What to write about me...My name is Ashley and I'm currently 19.

I've just started college and am having a great time!
It's really amazing. My professors are great and really know their stuff.
I'm in college studying psychology because I just want to help people.
Plus I find the way the human mind works absolutely amazing, hilarious, and fascinating.
It is just weird how some people think and I love learning about that both in college and in my everyday life (because I do come across some odd people every day).

Even though I'm college, I don't do drugs and I never, ever drink.
Not even a little.
I think those sort of things are kind of dumb.
Alcohol has already killed three of my friends whether it be indirectly or of their own fault.
That has just sort of left a bad taste in my mouth so I've resolved to not drink out of respect for them.
Plus, I've found that I can have much more fun, and end up much less embarrassed the next morning by not drinking.

Well, I'm not really sure how to describe myself, since it's hard to pin someone down in just a few words.
I'm worried about my weight, yet I don't diet; I'm self-conscious, yet have no problem being outgoing; I'm not very smart, yet I manage to make A's and B's; I'm a dog person but I have a cat; people seem to think I'm a good person but I really only do volunteer work because it makes me look better; I have a temper but I don't hold a grudge; and I'm really into the field of photography but none of my classes have anything to do with taking pictures.
According to my friends, I'm pretty nice and am easy to talk to.
I love meeting new people and talking to them.
I also might have a bit of a problem of talking too much or not thinking before I talk.
Also, according to my friends, I'm a bit nosy, but really I just like making sure people are okay.

I'm a very liberal democrat.
I believe in gun control because after living in a rough part of town for my childhood and not being allowed to play outside because there were too many gangs, shootouts and stuff, I think that something drastic needs to be done.
I support the legalization of marijuana, not because I smoke it, but because I think alcohol is worse anyway so it's hypocritical not to legalize marijuana.
Plus, it can be regulated by the government to add a bit of a boost to the government's money.
I support gay marriage because I think when people can get married at 3 in the morning at a drive-thru, people can no longer claim that two guys who love each other really deeply and probably won't get divorced would disrupt the sanctity of marriage (I mean please, do they even listen to themselves when they say that?).
I do support better border control, but I don't think we should just not let them in our country at all.
After all, this is the "melting pot".
I'm not sure how I feel about abortion because as someone who's never been pregnant, I don't think I have a right to form an opinion about it yet.
And last but not least, I support the war, just not how it was executed.

Well, I'm bisexual, always have been.
No, that does not mean that I date both guys and girls at the same time, have threesomes, am a slut, am going through a phase, am doing it for attention or am automatically a cheater.
Get over yourself.
My family was actually really cool about it, or at least my mom was.
The rest of the family who reacted badly don't really matter anyway.
The main one that hates it is my over-zealous, mormon grandmother, but she's crazy anyway.
She's been pretending I'm a boy since I was 4 anyway (it was her way of coping with the fact that I was born outside the confines of marriage).

I've been told I have an overly active sex drive but it doesn't really bother me.
I enjoy it.
Though it's not like I'll sleep with anyone that asks, I do prefer to have an actual relationship first.
Also, even though I do enjoy sex, I happen to be a hug and innocent PDA addict.
They make me happy!

I've recently discovered that I'm incredibly into S&M, and am a sub.
My first clue that I was that way was that I started to get turned on when my physical trainer would yell at me to try harder when at the gym. lol.
