Profile: Šopyright Death was formed in 2004 when two friends Logan Aube and Aaron Ritchie wrote their first song, Cakejunk, as a birthday present for their friend Andrew. The band, originally named Ape Escape, changed their name when they decided that they might get "copyright deathed" for using the name Ape Escape. Throughout 2004, they recorded their debut album "..X/@5+3 0|= |V|0|..|3-/" (read Waste Of Money). The album was mainly an experiment to find their sound, an eclectic mesh of Drum n' Bass, Jungle, Pop, and a lot of humour. In mid 2005, the band gained a new member, May Kwan, followed by guitarist Nan Cayongcat in September 2007. Together, the quartet have begun recording a new album with a more cohesive sound, superior production, and better vocals. The new album is due sometime in 2007Sounds Like: Electro Rock / Darkwave / Freeform / Breakcore / Techno / Dark HouseInfluences: Teranoid & MC Natsack, DIE!!DIE!!COLOR!!!, Aural Vampire, Curve, Garbage, Venetian Snares, Dir En Grey, Mindless Self Indulgence, Noriko Tujiko, m1dy, DJ Sharpnel, Alec Empire, Melt-Banana, Utada Hikaru, Maaya Sakamoto, Ayumi Hamasaki, M-Flo, Luna Sea, Metallica, At The Drive-InHomepage: http://www.copyrightdeath.com Link 1: http://www.myspace.com/copyrightdeath
