About Me
I like to have LOTS of fun (preferably with my friends), hanging out, shopping, going to raves, DANCING!!!, drinking (coffee or booze), exploring, trying new things, taking free classes. I'm very open and honest about myself, and I'm a very good listener. I tend to figure things out as I talk. I talk a LOT! You won't notice until I'm comfortable with you but once that happens I'll open right up. Don't be afraid to tell me I'm talking too much and to calm down. It's hard to offend me by accident. I'm a mature undergrad student at U of T, taking time off at the moment. I want to get into social work focusing on queer youth and youth at risk. I went vegan in Feb, thanks to Peta2 and a few cookbooks, and I've been learning a lot about what happens to animals in the food and other industries. I'm not preachy but I don't put up with ignorant comments about things I consider to be serious. Since I went vegan, I've had to learn to cook for myself again from scratch. And now that I'm back into cooking, I started to get back into baking! So I love to do at-home parties/get-togethers as well so I can bring a fresh batch of chocolate peanut butter cups, brownies, cookies, etc. I also make awesome taco salads, chip dips, humus, etc. I am a trans woman still somewhat early in transition. I've been out to family and friends for about a year now but I'm totally out and proud! While I'd never have chosen to be like this, I wouldn't trade it away either. I see it as both a gift and a curse (as is life itself).
