About Me
Sex: Female Age: 23 Location: United States Orientation: Bisexual Status: Married
I have recently had a moment of clarity. In this moment, I understood that I will never amount to the expectations that others have for me. I will never be beautiful and brilliant..but I am content with who I am at this moment.
I am a mother attending college in hopes of becoming a teacher. I love English, and after rediscovering my love for reading I am trying to make up for lost time by focusing on classics (as well as books I intended to read for years, but have put off).
I collect boxes, perfume bottles, and any type of bottle. I pretty much adore anything that can contain something else. I believe that maybe this is a subconscious longing to be secured, protected. Yes, I like to analyze myself.
I find nature enchanting, especially trees. They are beautiful in my eyes, especially in winter when they are stripped of their leaves. They resemble nerve endings..feelings..emotions. I find symbolism in everything I see.
A strong belief I have is that people are starting to be comfortable in isolation, and use technology as a crutch to distance themselves from each other. I think this is a BAD thing. People need to realize that just because you converse on a computer screen, that should not take place of actual social interactions. So please, get off facebook, VF, or whatever other website you may be on and grab some coffee with a buddy(or tea if you should feel so inclined)!!!
Also, people are way too consumed by their own little existences. Everyone seems to be jaded from those around them. I am not saying become a martyr or deprive yourself of things to help others..but at least be human and acknowledge that people in pain exist, and it is more important than the songs on your IPOD!!!
As for those who complain about the poor example celebrities and the such set for society, be quiet and just ignore them. Stop idealizing people whose sole purpose in life is to set unrealistic expectations. This goes for musicians as well. No one should be put on a pedestal.
Likes
I like anything that will entertain me and take me away from my increasingly boring and endless routine. Going out whenever possible, spending time with my kid, drinking, reading when i can, watching movies, and cuddling are favorite past times of mine ^.^. Also downing massive amounts of coffee to keep myself conscious, playing DDR, drawing, writing, watching anime. Random list of other likes: Walking aimlessly, Watching TV(Dexter, The L Word, Weeds), Bubble Tea, Sharp Objects, Heavy Eyeliner, Androgyny, Anything soft, Music, Musicals, and Disney.
Dislikes
I cant stand confrontation and avoid it the best i can. I also have a great dislike for people who are assholes for no reason, control freaks, and people who are close minded.
Favorite Music
With music, it depends on my mood. For example, when I am depressed I will listen to bands like APC, or The Cure. When I am angry, I will listen to bands like Otep, and when I am happy I'll listen to MSI.
