The basic Idea and vision for Consider the Ravens is simple: Be diverse, and reach people. We're not here to shove our beliefs down peoples throats,We just want to show people that God came down and met them where they were...as sinners. Not the other way around, despite what religion teaches and despite what most denominations preach...We cannot meet God where he is. We simply do not have the power to become perfect on our own. We have to accept the fact that Christ became flesh and came down to our world. So many Denominations would have us believe that in order to become a Christian we have to be "Good Enough"...and the truth is we will never be good enough for the sacrifice He made. You will never do enough good, your hair will never be combed right, your tattoos will never be hidden well enough and your life will never be sin-free enough to make it to heaven. BUT, the Blood of Christ IS more than enough. That is the message in our music. We believe in diversity as musicians. Our current live set has everything from original Thrash metal songs and original praise songs to an acoustic Praise set and a KREATOR cover...Individually we listen to and seek inspiration from everything from obscure metal bands like CHTHONIC to Praise and Worship bands like JESUS CULTURE. We are not afraid to play loud and fast and we are quite comfortable playing acoustic and slow. We have melodic female vocals, keyboards and hand percussion as well as Death metal vocals, Blastbeat drums and Power chords. Our philosophy where music is concerned is "There is no such thing as guilty-pleasure music. If it sounds good to you then it is good music"...no apologies.
