The Synful Human Race-A Rant
At first glance, you'd be quick to judge me. You'd probably immediately believe all the rumors floating around about me. You'd think just because I mainly wear the color black that I am "goth" In all reality, I don't give a shit what you label me because I am content with who I am and that is all that matters. Sure, I have problems but don't expect me to pour my soul out to you, you have to earn that right. I am sad. I am happy. I am sweet. I am angry, violent and depressed. I am judgemental and selfish. I am a hypocrite and I admit it. I enjoy many things in life, none more so than my solitary existence. Yes, it can get lonely but it is better than selling myself to the masses. Words and music remedy the majority of my sorrow, filling that void. Mentally, most of the time I am somewhere else, living in a world inside my head that will never exist. I don't care if you find me odd because the feelings of most of the human race are no concern to me because I only know a small percent of them and only an even smaller percentage do I truly care about. Call me a bitch. Call me ignorant. It won't phase me. I won't think twice about your welfare because I don't know you nor do I want to.
Everyone is searching for love, but love is but a faraway illusion that only temporarily satisfies the mind until you lay down to rest. The human race is sickening. We go through our lives hating and destroying everything in our path, all while trying to accomplish a goal that won't matter once they're long dead. One day, when you and I are long gone, maybe our race can truly stop all the conflict and live in a blissful existence. To find that salvation, we must rid our blackened hearts of all the painful hate to welcome in the light. It hurts me to know I shall never live to bear witness to a true miracle. It has to happen someday. Otherwise, why are we here?
