I'm Berry (It really is my name) and I'm from The Netherlands. I admit it�s okay to live here but my soul would be happier elsewhere, so it is my dream to go to England (and maybe study or live there). I�d like to stay around Nottingham or even more north, but I�ll just have to wait for the opportunity. Wales, Ireland or Finland would probably work for me too but I've never been there. YET.

Music to me is like blood to a body. I listen to it as much as possible and it keeps me going. Whatever the occasion is, I�ll always have my music to give me strength, to soothen me and just to listen to because music is great. And sometimes when I don�t or shouldn�t listen to music I�ll just listen to the symphony of silence. I have also been making music for quite a while. I've played the keyboard for 5 years and now I play the guitar. I've played the acoustic guitar for one year and the electric guitar for two years and still going. Due to college and work I couldn't take up lessons this year, otherwise I would have probably had guitar lessons for a third year and maybe some vocal training as well.

My most passionate art is poetry. I have been writing poems from a very young age, and yet still the paper and I make a good team together. Currently I'm working on my first thriller novel. I also love to draw and I like to go outdoors and cycle for a few miles..or take a walk. I like to be outside, especially out in nature. Nature is beautiful, yet I can't always be out, unfortunately.

I like a good laugh too; me and my friends always have fun. Friends are really important to me. They�re always there, and we have a lot of fun and good talks together. I tend to be a serious person, though I like humour. I have a (really) dry sense of humour. I may not talk much at first, though when I get to know someone better and feel at home with that one, I will talk quite a lot more or even play the fool.

I'm keen on languages and learning them. I know 7 languages (not saying I can speak them all well) and I want to learn Finnish now too.

What else can I say? I can be sarcastic. I have a temper (but it doesn't show most of the times) though I don't get mad easily unless you know how to annoy me well, but it means that I'm really mad for a really short time. Furthermore I'm just another hopeless romantic (including the clich�s, e.g. candles and sunsets) and a (day)dreamer, believing in true love and wishing for different times. I'm pretty oldfashioned and meanwhile openminded. I�m a also a very spiritual person, tending towards paganism (wicca, druidism etc.) and I enjoy good conversations with openminded people, which can be really random or serious.

Feel free to drop me a comment. If you add me, please leave a message or something, since I think it's rather unpersonal if you add someone to your friends list without having talked to that person. I try to respect everyone and their opinions, beliefs and ideas and hope people will do the same thing for me. I can understand most perspectives and ways of reasoning and if I can't, I will at least try.
